A month huh? Just enough time to mine some ice and form a cold core for the food storage. We're after RP value instead of meta game though, right? Makes for a cool ice house.
I agree.

Ice walls are stabilized and made not to melt with dwarven magic.

Something that Murderfarmed don't use. Ever.

I always suspected it was like Pykrete. Of course if you're really hard core, you could say that they only last one year and have to be replaced each time around. Ultimately it'd be Broseph who can say if it is or isn't allowable.

There's nothing inherently wrong with it provided it's only underground. or inside another structure. Using ice as a legitimate building material would be a little too wonky RPwise but using it to cool the food seems fine.

Exactly. I was thinking as a 2x2 pillar in the middle of the food storage area. Other wise we're getting a bit too literal with the term 'Icehouse'.

Ice walls have no effects with temperature because it's water solidified with magic.

Well, it's all RP anyway. But I was thinking of a room made out of ice to properly cool the food and booze stored within. If there's just a pillar it won't make the room much colder than it already is underground.

or several pillars in an aesthetically appealing formation about the room

Perhaps in the shape a dwarven face? Of course if we act quick enough the room could be paved with ice floors and ice pillars to keep everything nicely chilled.

My free time just evaporated, so I might lurk occasionally but no need to dwarf me.

Diary of Sacha [There is a small happy dwarf walking away with a happy goblin drawn in detail at the top left. Sacha and Nerjin are waving good-bye.]

[The date is illegible but loopy]
Well I have finally started making amends. I healed up the founder of Murderfarmed. Not quite the same as Broseph but for what it’s worth I think it counts well enough. However I get the feeling that Helmet doesn’t trust me. While yelling at my wife about whatever he goes on about he seemed to forget that I was in the room. It’s really odd to have a patient ignore you entirely and spend the whole time referring to you as your wife. Either way.

[The date is illegible but plain. It is obvious that some time has passed.]

Helmet is right! There is a demon around here! I don’t know how but… I gave birth! Nerjin and I have remained celibate for quite some time due to my “husband” being in the room. I’ve touched neither of the men and  yet…. Gah! This devil spawn must be gotten rid of. I don’t care how or why. I’ll drown it myself if I have to! Murderfarmed will not fall to a demon-spawn!

[The date is illegible but plain. The writing seems ecstatic.]

Finally they arrived! I leaked information to a nearby snatcher camp! They almost grabbed the wrong baby but once they realized that the woman wasn’t giving the child away they hopped into the river to avoid detection. Well they did it! They took the bastard! I hope they eat him personally. Such nice creatures. I wonder why no one else likes them… I’ll have to act sad though… No one else can know that I had anything to do with a demon… Still… how did I get pregnant with it’s spawn?

[The date is illegible but plain. It is obvious that some time has passed.]

I got attacked by a boar. I don’t see why people are afraid of them. I got away easily. Must just be nerves. Granted my husband distracted it so maybe they’re afraid because they have to face them alone?

If Betelgeuse doesn't get a post in tonight we'll revert to the last save and go to felcis. Felcis hasn't made a post since he signed up on the second page so if he doesn't let us know he's still into this by Monday we'll see if Betelgeuse is up to it and if not continue down the list.
