So, about weapon traps...

Considering they all have same quality weapons and same quality mechanisms. Would 1 weapon trap with 5 trap components work better than 5 weapon traps with 1 component each?

Well, 5 traps with 1 component each can damage a larger quantity of enemies at once, with greater general efficiency because each trap has it's own separate reset time. Additionally, if each trap component only hit's once, then there is no chance that they will skip over the trap in the next square (each dodge can potentially move away 1 square, skipping over other traps). Additionally, this lets you spread the blood over a larger area, and keeps individuals alive longer, so more will be injured before trying to flee. Not to mention that if one weapon causes the trap to jam, then none of the weapons in that trap will work.

On the other hand, stuffing a single trap with more weapons saves space and mechanisms (if you have a lack of stone/metal to make them). It also tends to make a more spectacular goresplosion, especially with good serrated disc traps.
