It sadly looks like another heavily scripted walkthrough though...I wasn't some REAL game play please =/
We are not going to get REAL gameplay videos until game gets released. They are uploaded by people who play the game, not the corporation which made it.

Scripted or not, still looks badass.

It's looking pretty sweet.

I wonder if there's a reason to take random criminals down, besides "doing something good". Just getting money for it would make it unnecessary later in the game. The title seems to imply that's the point of what you're doing (Taking out the bad guys), but will there be enough of a reason to help random folks out once certain demands have been met?

Yeah, what the game's morals are right now is pretty ambiguous. In the first video, you're a data thief who thinks nothing of causing a multi-car pile up. In this video, now you're out for some vigilante justice. It's probably akin to GTA where you could you help cops take down NPCs they were pissed at, if you were so inclined.

Same reason you do destructive but pointless things.
For the gigs.

Ok, I'm going to call it now. The twist is going to be that there's a man in the 1600s with a steampunk contraption which lets him live the life of one of his future ancestors.

And, as the story progresses, you play parts in the 1600s, and slowly the man gets the ability to hack things. Put out candels, stop carriages, that sort of thing (don't ask how).

First you have to get through the 7 hour tutorial though, to teach you how to walk.
