Okay, let's see.

Character Name: Bulat Ironwither

Mane Color (If Applicable): Black

Coat Color: Dark desaturate orange.

Kind of Pony (E, P or U): E

Cutie Mark: Steel-grey anvil and two red-hot horseshoes

Description/Background: Bulat Ironwither is a stoutly built stallion with piercing orange eyes and a short-cut mane and tail. He comes from a well-respected family of blacksmiths of Stalliongrad. Despite being well-known, with the advent of new technologies and smithing magic the Ironwither clan had found themselves more and more in need of expanding their influence, and Bulat was one of those selected to travel the breadth of Equestria to find new fronts for the family's business. Being blacksmiths, the Ironwithers train all their lives to increase the strength of their forelegs, which they need to work metal with sufficient precision. This bulk of muscle around the withers, however, sometimes makes it hard to move very fast.

Talents: Working metal and performing smithing-related activities.

Proposed Bonuses: +1 to striking power, -1 to dodge

Text Color: Orange

These are the Bay12 boards and nobody made an immigrant dwarf blacksmith. I am dissapoint. :P
(and yes, I'm doing a combat-focus build in a supposedly combat-light game; I expect to be as bad at socializing in the game as I am in real life)

Gaem begeen!

The trio of friends were walking through Ponyville. Most onlookers would not think them to be friends unless they knew them, because the three had been friends since they were all colts. Now they were walking down to Sugar Cube Corner for a treat together. Wait a minute, what was that in the sky?

(Take a guess)

<Since I suppose the action is to take a guess, I'll take a guess. A descending airship?>
<Also, do we color the whole text, or just the spoken lines?>

Full text.

That thing is coming down, on fire, and falling fast. You should do something.

(Hint, read first post over.)

Cress notices the object, examines it for a second, and decides it is most likely not a plant, as it appears to be falling from the sky and on fire, both very unhealthy and abnormal things for a plant that size to do.

((Not sure really what the action here is supposed to be. Do you want us to react to the object (presumably a meteor) or just assess it?))

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! A meteor is about to crush you. What will you do? Thankfully you are far away enough from SCC that it won't be hit, but you are still going to be hit if you don't do something. What'll you do?

Oh, dat dos not look good. Reminds me of de time ve tried to motorize de forges..

Bulat looks worriedly up into the sky, considering whether or not the object will fall near enough to warrant ducking for cover or similar activities.

Cress ponders the burning, speeding object a bit longer, and comes to a conclusion about its identity. He turns to his compatriots.

"Friends, I do believe that may be a meteor. Rapidly on its way to becoming a meteorite. And though I cannot say my identification is made with any authority, as astronomy is not my field of choice, may I suggest we increase our rate of travel towards Sugarcube Corner to take shelter? Also, screaming, crying and warning everypony else may be warranted."

"Uh, yeah, we should probably do that. I don't think getting hit by a big, flaming rock would be very good for me."

Roll for speed increase. (4) You increase your speed, rising to a decent run. You are now well out of range of the meteorite, and everypony else seems to have done the same. You are close to SCC, within sight of the door. It seems to have a few ponies with orders, but not much else.

Cress nods in agreement.

"I could really go for an eclair right now."

As the trio walks in, they are greeted by Pinkie Pie in her average overactive manner.
"Howdy! Ooh! I know you! You're the new ponies in town! I'll have to throw a party later... What would you like? Since you're new, it's on the house! Not a bit!"

"I'll have a sugar taco and a cupcake."

"How did you know about sugar tacos? I just invented them! Ooo! Do you have a Grumblebluster-sense?? Then you would have known! And I'll give you the rainbow cupcake special!"
