Stealth gameplay is really going to change in the next release. More indepth, but no more super-ninja invisibility. Could be way fun, though.

It will only work if Toady fixes ranged weapons though, otherwise it will be impossible to assault bandit camps.

You mean how ranged weapons make you completely passive until the projectile is done flying? Well, with the addition of these "reaction moments," surely we'll be able to run after we fire.

I was referring more to the way arrows seem to inerringly point towards the head and penetrate helmets, making it impossible to attack a bandit camp wherein archers reside. But yes, we can only hope that the movement/speed split will improve archery.

I hate shooting at someone, only for them to run all the way up to me while the projectile flies, and land several hits without my adventurer even trying to block or dodge. It's almost as if their consciousness is transferred to the arrow  >:(

I never got to play 0.34.11 until now, and I'm loving all the new features since last I played (0.34.5 I think).

I'm loving the hauling improvements. My dwarves don't take forever to clean a battlefield anymore, and stone won't clutter the halls anymore if you build a very easy to use (after you learn it) system of carts.

This version gave the most thrilling siege I ever had too. A legion of goblins hold by two legendary marksdwarves and two battlemothers :D

Another year or so...

If you look at the frontpage it looks like he's wrapping up this round of additions.

Don't expect it anytime in the next month, anyway.

And the dual wielding and multiple attack stuff gave me a thought. Could you end up strangling 2 throats with your hands.. 2 with your feet, 2 with your arms and 2 with your legs.. perhaps ripping one out with your teeth.. ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

That's freaking dwarfy, yo.

I've been working my metalworkers for a while now, hoping they got experienced enough to churn out ONLY masterpieces. So far, that has yet to occur. Is it even possible to do?

There is currently a minor problem in that the veteran demons fighting in the corpse factory have failed to die in the 2 year battle and have become legendary unkillable gods of war. I may have misjudged this possible outcome.
