I rather liked the name Cult. It's not often used in titles, and I thought it really conveyed the core theme of the game well.

Admittingly it does have a negative connotation that I can understand wanting to get rid of.

It will be soon, ScriptWolf. :) I'm looking to implement a system that will work in much the same way that Paradox's does, with backers/buyers getting a registration code that allows them to create an account on the website and a special set of forums for mod-creation and content-sharing. This way anyone who purchases the game legitimately will get access to the sections of the website devoted to content creation/sharing, an area to post/share character statistics, stories or accomplishments, and so forth. I like the idea of a system wherein backers/buyers get a benefit and potential buyers have an incentive to purchase, but nobody gets penalized by some 'copyright protection' scheme (I'll likely end up having the base game freely downloadable, since it'll end up on TPB sooner or later no matter what).

You could go one further and offer an 'official' torrent up on popular torrent sites. I've seen this done before and all it really does is get you free advertising. People who are going to buy the game will buy it anyway, people who are going to pirate the game have a trusted place to do so and may think better of you for it. The only people feeling left out are those who race each other to defeat the newest DRM and crack a game first, but they generally don't pay a lot of attention to indie releases anyway.

Eclipse Phase did this with the core book of their roleplaying system and it got them a ton of free press and kudos.

TPB-Friendly uploading does score you points in many people's books, especially as an Indie dev.

Ah, I donated pre-Kickstarter. It was probably well over a year ago, if not more.

I must echo the sentiment that the original title was really great. I don't see any reason to change it at all. Especially not to Dominion, which is already the name of a somewhat well known indie game.

I can't get onto the forum through my old link.  Has the server switched names?  If so, what's the new webpage?

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

There was a name change, followed by a domain name change. Try:

and take a moment to see if you recognize any of the old graphics.
