Well as long as he said that. I am still mad that he did intentionally shy away from the community... but as long as he admitted it and said he wouldn't do that.

I think he has made some pretty huge mistakes when it comes to communication, but mistakes are there to be learned from.

so yeah, keep on trucking and don't make the same mistakes again.


I think learning how to make graphics might be a bad allocation of your time and personal talents though. its better to make headway on the areas where you do know what you're doing than it is to learn an entirely new field. Throw up some balls... ask the community for help. there's bound to be more artists out there willing to help.

If we'd have a better idea of just what exactly you're in need of maybe someone will step forward to help out.

Because I thought that maybe he just lost his internet for a while and not that he did stop communicating with the community.

I am happy about it, but still. Though I am probably just in a bad mood from something unrelated.

Though yeah I have been in a rather bad mood for quite a few months now.

I am just relieved he is ok. Whenever any B12 goes AWOL without notice I worry. I think he needs to embrace a community vote system for design decisions from now on so he doesn't end up down a rabbit hole. I am sure if he put it to a vote, most people who donated would have been fine with finishing the game in the original vision and then maybe tackling the stretch goals later if at all. He wouldn't know that since he kept it all to himself. That's a lot of stress and pressure and frankly, it's the sort of thing that would cause a lot of people to flame out.
Maybe he should reach out to someone like Phroot(3079,3089) when he is stuck with these issues or just general development stress?

Meh...maybe I am overly optimistic...but i am giving him the benfit of the doubt on this one. I for one am a very quiet person that is prone to withdrawing under pressure or work. Perhaps he is too?
