Don't you think he has an obligation to people whose money he's taken?  As far as I can tell he hasn't even been delivering backer rewards.  That's kinda what you agree to do, bare minimum, when you make a kickstarter.

I'm skeptical he's been hit by a bus/is ill either.  It looks like the official forum is gone.  Not gone like 'error message', gone like 'someone removed it'

I gather that most of your objections revolve around the frequent phrase, long-standing member of the community, like B12 is the masonic order or something. I think B12ers are cool and usually like interesting games, but what's with the hero-worship? I suppose you're at that impressionable registration age of 2 years where you want to finally be a "real vet" of the forum, but you feel inadequate in the shower room when standing next to a poster from 2007. So, you seek the submissive role to any dominant elder who can transfer his "forum cred" to you. This mental complex is all very psychological. It's hard to explain without delving into super technical psycho-babble.
