Glad to see things are going well!  Make sure to give Norway all your juicy techs if it hasn't been done already.

Hell Yes from the looks of it Germany doesn't have enough troops left to take Norway, Denmark's screw up the A-hole through. Are you at war with Italy currently? If so then move troops up from africa might be a mistake till you hold northern Africa.

As of a few months ago, yes. There was 1 major-ish battle that we won on the Libyan border, but now it's pretty stagnant. The British were even kind enough to leave a couple troops for our defense in Tunisia, now if I can just get them to help me attack Saarbrucken...

Here's a picture of the African theater:

The British also look like they're in the process of taking an unusually devoid-of-Italians Ethiopia:

In fact, all of the action in Africa appears to be on the Egypt-Libya border:

Hell, I think I'll make the rest of this post a recap on stuff I missed in the world while I was fighting Germans:

The Spanish civil war is still technically ongoing, although absolutely nothing has happened in the past 3 years and it doesn't look like anything will happen unless there's some outside influence (a la me invading after the Nazis have been dealt with):

It's been a few months and the Finns are either a) holding the Russian menace off or b) about to be steamrolled into oblivion by the Russian menace who lurk in the forests just beyond the Finnish border:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

China is still a divided heap of mostly Nationalists and some communists in the mountains. The Japanese have done nothing I've noticed yet:

Heavens no. We would be in Japan by now  ;D
It's 15 regiments (attacking) in Metz and 27 in that other province I think.

Squat diddly. Most of our steadily dwindling (due to bombing) IC is being used for reinforcements and upgrades. I would not recommend France unless you're pretty experienced with the game, which is why I, the most inexperienced Darkest Hour player, decided to play as them.

Sorry about the infrequent updating this is getting (or rather not getting), it's just [insert "I just started collège and took a really hard math class" pity party rant here]. Yeah, I probably am beginning to sound like a broken record. But, if I get around to playing this game, it will most likely be on the weekends.

What threat is a mere math class compared to the might of the Third Reich? Squash it quickly and return, so that the lives of your fallen soldiers were not in vain!

Actually, the main difference between a harsh Math Instructor and the Third Reich is that it is considered appropriate to swear profusely at the Third Reich.  Good catharsis, Darkest Hour is.

January 8th, 1940

The Canadians have agreed to allow us to command their motorized infantry divisions. They will be transported to France immediately!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

January 9th, 1940

General Huntziger has died on the field of battle, like a true French hero! Sa mort sera vengée!

January 11th, 1940

Our troops in the Saar are beginning to break. Most are at half strength or lower. The Germans on the other hand, are back up to 31 divisions and show no real signs of breaking. Hopefully the Canadian reinforcements will give us the push we need when they arrive.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

January 30th, 1940

The Italians have decided to do something in Africa and attacked Medenine.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

February 2nd, 1940

The Canadian corps has landed in Dieppe, and are now making their way to the front.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

-----------------

I'm scared. What the hell should I do to salvage this? Our troops don't have enough time to recover their strength before the troops currently fighting get too low on strength. I would grab the troops from Norway, but they're being killed off by German planes, and the Australians/New Zealanders are too far away to be transported. Hopefully those damn Russians pull their heads out of their drunk asses soon, if at all...

Eh, you're holding the line, which is essential.  Even if the offense fails, you've pinned down 31 German Divisions and stopped their offensive.

Just remember to rotate your troops and not to exceed the command limits.

Hm, you might try sending the Canadians and your troops in Strassburg at Metz.  Keep the pressure on Saar with your other French forces just long enough so they don't intefer with the Metz offensive.  It's a weak point in the German's lines, and it leads directly to their airports.
