Action Phase Little Mouser again tries to storm ahead! His kart bursts forward with speed, gaining
TWO Momentum!
Mr Fish takes a conservative line and drives defensively!
Shy Guy is not having any of it and steps on the throttle! [3] However, he cannot get his engines to rev enough to get any more momentum!
Pikachu also tries to gain some ground in the upcoming melee! [1] However, he cuts his line far too tight and hits the grass, losing
ONE Momentum.
Monkey Kong engages drift mode and trails Pikachu! [4]+1 Vs [5] However, Pikachu blocks Monkey off! Enraged, Monkey fires all three shells! [1]+1-1 [4]+1-1 [1]+1-1 vs [3] [4] [2] Two shots go wide, hit the barriers and come back at Monkey Kong! The other is skillfully evaded and is now heading straight towards Shy Guy! [6]-1 Vs [5] Shy Guy could touch the shell with is own stubby hand if he wished, but it hits a mound and flies up in the air... above Mr Fish! [1]+1-1 Vs [3] It hits the wall and goes back to Shy Guy! [4]-1 Vs [1] And it finally hits him! He flips out and loses
TWO Momentum! Meanwhile, the two other shells are still coming to Monkey Kong! [1]-1 [1]-1 Vs [1] [5] They all hit the corner again and return to Pikachu, the intended target! [4]+1-1 [6]+1-1 Vs [5] [1] One hits, and Pikachu goes flying, losing
TWO Momentum! The last shell goes to a downed Shy Guy... [3]-1 Vs [5] Shy Guy is still airborne and the shell goes beneath! Mr Fish is now a valid target again! [2]-1 Vs [5] It misses by a mile! Little Mouser is the last target! [6]-1 Vs [3] It hits, and Little Mouser goes upwards! Now, if I managed to run this turn earlier, this massive block of text would not exist. Oh well.
Bill Ryzer decides that he WILL overtake an ape! [5] He gets a really strong start going and makes
TWO Momentum from his scenario!
Movement Phase
All racers hit the dash panels and get
ONE Momentum from it!
Little Mouser is still in a position to pull ahead-he drops his Banana and steps on it! [2] However, he still can't get the distance in!
Mr Fish-SUDDENLY BANANA. [4]+1-1 The Banana is no trouble, but Little Mouser is still too far ahead!
Shy Guy also Banana! [5]-1 No banana troubles there, but he literally has no momentum!
Pikachu also has to dodge a banana! [5]+1-1 No troubles there.
Monkey Kong also goes around a banana. [4]+1 No troubles there. He can also overtake Pikachu! [3]+2 Vs [1]-1 He swings into fourth, loses
ONE Momentum and comes up behind Shy Guy! [2]+1 Vs [6] Shy Guy expertly cuts the monkey off!
Bill is the last person to attempt to dodge the banana! [2]+1-1 SPINNING OUT! Bill loses
ONE Momentum from that! I thought he would make it that time ._. Either way, he still has enough speed to overtake Pikachu. [2]+3 Vs [4]-1 Bill still loses
ONE Momentum but he is no longer is in last! Monkey Kong is next in the scope of Bill. [6]+2 Vs [6]+1 That was a pair of magnificent drivers, but eventually, Bill pulls up into fourth, cashing in another
ONE Momentum. Can he get into the top 3 by overtaking Shy Guy? [2]+1 Vs [2] That is a definite yes! Bill Ryzer has hit a banana and still gone from last to third! I do not believe this! This is a sight for all to behold! Ahem. We still have the rest of the race, don't we.
Cleanup Phase
Pikachu's momentum resets from -1 to 0. To prove that miracle was not me being generous: (Left is Bill, Right is whoever he's overtaking. And then Momentum.)
