Mouser allowed himself a moment of hope. Maybe he'd see home again, after all.

Looking in his rearview, he saw the Shyguy-that unwitting visage of death-closing in fast. Well, nothing personal, mate...

He angled his kart-and tapped the fire control, launching his green shell at the Shyperson, humming a deadly whirr. Then he hit the gas, squeaking in surprise as his kart jumped forward.

Action: Fire Green Shell backwards at Shyguy!

Aggressive Driving!

Db's spectral form appeared in the stands. "Use the force Mouser!" Db said, trying to stay warm in his brown hooded snuggie. Why'd it have to be so cold during an out of body experience he muttered to himself.

TURN 1

Action Phase

Little Mouser puts his foot on the accelerator! [4] He gets ONE Momentum out of his engine (And an irrelevant -1 Hazard Check) . He then lines up the shell in his rear mirror, aiming at Shy Guy... And launches it! [1]-1+1 Vs [4] Shy Guy literally picks it up and returns it to sender! [5]-1 Vs [4] Little Mouser JUST sees it coming in the nick of time and dodges accordingly. That was close!

Shy Guy then puts HIS foot to the gas! [3] He can't get the power needed to get back up after the shell toss! (Still, -1 to Hazards.)

Mr Fish cruises up to Ramming Speed and has Shy Guy in his sights! This won't end well...

Pikachu decides to also drive hard and fast! [5] He quickly gets up to cruising speed with TWO Momentum added!

Monkey Kong goes into a slip and starts drafting Pikachu! [4]+1 Vs [4]+3 However, with Pikachu's increased speed, Monkey Kong is left behind and cannot catch up!

Bill seems determined to get himself back into the standings in this race! [2] He cannot get any pressure down, though, and remains well at the back!

Movement Phase

All racers his the Dash Panels, gaining ONE Momentum free!

Little Mouser does not have enough Momentum to pull ahead!

Shy Guy doesn't have the speed to overtake!

Mr Fish gains ramming speed! [1]+3 Vs [4]+3 However, Pikachu sees it coming and forces Mr Fish onto the grass! The fish quickly pulls back, losing ONE Momentum for his efforts!

Pikachu is quickly burning through the inside and looks in a good position to overtake! [4]+4 Vs [6]+2 The fish defends his position furiously, not allowing Pikachu to pass!

Monkey Kong and Bill Ryzer don't have a chance to gain any places as they enter PURPLE!

That was fun.

Pikachu gritted his teeth. The Pokemon was a good racer, considering that Pikachu had no idea where it currently hailed from. However, it wouldn't be able to it forever.drive aggressively on the inside path
(What's the rule on passing? By my count, me and Monk12 both had an 8 overall, which should have forced a tiebreaking roll)

I took the rules to be "Tie = Defender Wins", so I'm only tiebreaking in scenarios that need ties broken i.e. Rocket Starts.

Littler Mouser squeaked in fear as the shell zoomed by his head. Damn that mask wearing Demon!

He concentrated on holding his position, going for a loot box...hopefully something to get the Shyguy off his tail...

Action: Aggrssive Driving! Snag a loot box!

@ above, correct, defenders win ties.

Mr. Fish feels he is at risk of falling behind (inasmuch as he feels things other than hunger and apathy,) and Powerslides through the Outside path!

Shy Guy was surprised. He hadn't expected that sneaky mouse to make that sneaky trick!

Fortunately, Shy Guy still had his own sneakiness with him!

That mousy needed a few lessons in driving.

Shy Guy envied that mouse as he lined up his kart.

Draft Mouser and try to get an item box!
