Look up 'Magic the gathering planeswalker' in google.

Yeah, I know. What is one doing in Dwarf Fortress? Or a homebrew in which they aren't mentioned?

I became one in the original 'If bay 12 were a mountain hall...' thread, and I will be using that as the profession title on my dwarf in-game.

you still looking for mods to merge into this? might have missed that since I only read the first 3 pages. Regen could be butchered to fit in here I guess, I got a few spcial critters, that might add some !!FUN!! to a fort.

Just don't make the game too hard.  Don't want to turn it into one of the sparkgears.

Well I was more just going to make it so that if you see it, kill it. Chances are it wants you dead anyway, even if it doesn't look it. If one trooper can't kill it, send alot of troopers. If alot of troopers can't kill it, lure where a fuckton of troopers can shoot the fuck out of it till it decides being shot with plasma sucks and keels over.

More primitive forces will be employed just to keep the garrison active. I'll be making sure they all have natural skill in ranged combat and wrestling so everyone will start as if they've at least been in basic training.

It's ok the name is short, and easliy glazed over.

@Splint
I updated Regen:FE to Alpha 3, the bloodbeast is upgraded to be as dangerous as I had wanted it to be (somehow I acciendly had it scratch with muscles instead of it's razor sharp bone)

And other things. If you nab something else just let me know, I'm excited to see this thing start when it's ready. Kinda gives me that "DooM" feel.

Ok, I've completely finalized equippment as far as weapons, attire, and all that happy crap. Still need to make the ammo and thier associated reactions. I will not lie. these guys will rely very heavily on imported cloth, so the freemerchants will make three visits a year, with the supply caravan from home coming in winter. I'm going to gen a world with the sagon-hai and see if they work right.

2-why do they need the cloth?

because of the hardcoded thoughts on clothing. besides, uniforms get won out and eventually need to be replaced, and in order for garrisons to be largly self sustaining everyone knows the basics of such skills in order to replace or repair broken or damaged equipment.
