Did you not get it at the library? If you had a blue mage, you *really* should have.

Your best tactic is to just let someone drop then have everybody else dps their asses off.

Agreed. Just let one die, and the other three can attack with no worries. If they get close to atmos just revive em or let em get sucked in, nothing major happens.

I just got to world three. Chemists are nasty, as are beastmasters and time mages. Thieves, not so much, but i hope the chicken knife will fix that. Turns out giant drinks for everyone is pretty evil.

...And now I'm stuck at the Crystals. I'm going to try levelling Summoner on everyone so I can throw up Golem then start spamming Titan.

What are your four jobs, Baneling? If you need APB or cash, go to the basement of castle Bal and fight the statues there. Soft kills them instantly, and they give either 4 APB for 2 statues, or 8 for 5, also large chunks of cash and minimal xp.

Remember that the crystals don't start using their magic until they are at half health. So focus on one at a time, and kill it FAST.

Edit: blue mage summoner ranger dancer. Spam 1000 needles/blowfish for 1k a shot. Or spam magic hammers to drain mp. Or use death claw. That works to it seems.

Yeah...for some odd reason I didn't think that Magic Hammer would work despite the fact that it worked well enough to kill Atomos a short while ago.

EDIT: It doesn't, really. It seems to have only 10% chance of actually doing anything, so I'm pretty much just spamming it the entire fight while occasionally using Golem.

Try goblin punch + excailibur as well.

Ugg forgot about that. Well, i give up. Not sure how to do it even with that nice of a party. Perhaps flame rings and knock the fire one down to spell mode before attacking others?

Edit: Fighting stoker with a theif plus chicken knife and capture. Every time he moves he gets a new dark matter.

If he's at that point and he didn't grind for fire rings in world 1, he's not going to be able to get them until Exdeath's castle.

I think you're going to have to grind for a bit, baneling.

If you mean Exdeath's castle the proper version, then I'm probably screwed, yeah.

Keep in mind I have access to the entirety of World 2 at this point.

Drain sword + xfight or aim. That should help with healing issues. Might just be able to spam it.

If you're talking to me, I don't have MKnight. To keep it visible, my party is:

Blue Mage
Summoner
Ranger
Dancer

If not, well, drain sword + xfight = enough heals, I think :P

EDIT: Another resource to take into account - I have a Dancing Dirk and 4 Reflect Rings. Unless I went for the Earth and Water ones first I can't imagine reflect being particularly effective, though.

Did you get Death Claw? Apparently it works on them. You might have to try a few times, but they aren't immune.

Edit: also, Missile.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Welp, I got to Castle Exdeath.

Turns out Excalipoor actually sucks, despite the fact that goblin punch ignores the 1-damage-per-hit thing. Why am I not hitting for thousands, damnit? D:

My first playthrough jobs were Knight, Berserker, Ranger, Dragoon.
My second playthrough jobs are White Mage, Black Mage, Blue Mage, and Summoner.

I guess I get to see how the game works from both a pretty much pure physical and a pure magic damage team.
