Haven't played this in awhile, and I saw some class names I hadn't even heard of a year (or two, and a half?) ago. Worth picking it back up on steam?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Okay I tried all that. Just out of curiosity, is there an "error log" file anywhere? I can see an error window pop up for a split second after it crashes but it immediately disappears.
Not that I know of, sorry.

It's better than I remembered it. I'd recommend it. Nexon still sucks though.

On a side note, the Scoria Core music is totally Trololo. That guitar riff.... seriously.

So, I have a question for you guys. Playing around with the Male Mage, using mostly the x button attack and the one that shoots five shots in succession. I'm somehow almost always A rank for combo when i've hardly tried to combo more than bashing x and d in the enemies direction. This seems kinda absurd compared to what I remember of the comboing, though I'm still in Grand Flores as AklyonX so maybe its the area?

Yeah, I don't understand how to increase my combo rank. I got A once and now I keep getting F.

Anyway, I got this working. Problem was I had replaced my processor drivers (and some other drivers) with generics to speed things up. It DID speed up some of my games but apparently DFO hated that.

Nah, I wasn't asking how to increase it, I was asking how I kept getting that. I had to actually put effort into keeping the combo thing high before, and now I'm just danmaku-spraying blue orbs in their direction and it keeps sticking at ~90%.

If it takes more than one hit for <spam attack> to kill something, comboing is ridiculously easy :P

For witches, at least, spewing magic missile at everything started hitting 90+% regularly at around sky tower or whatever that is, once it stopped one-shotting everything. Presumably male mages do roughly the same thing.

Yep. four blue orbs from x button, 5 from Concentrated Fury, if I'm facing the right direction its been hitting 90%~ since thunderland if above normal. Otherwise it just flattens everything.

Yeah, even keeping your combo rank up isn't too hard for melee classes either, early on. Taking hits will lower your overall rank though, I think, so it does get harder later on, although you'll tend to die before getting to the end with a bad rank, unless you use tokens.

Hits don't lower your rank anymore. Otherwise I'd not be getting all these SSS ranks. I kinda ignore hits as a male mage. Since. Y'know. Immortal.

They used to, but I'm glad they took it out, since it could make unlocking kings road as some classes a real pain unless you played super slow and cautiously. Which is no fun.

On one hand, it more or less removes the whole combo aspect on level appropriate dungeons, but on the other hand, like you said, just creeping along and pulling dudes out of groups like a normal MMO is no fun in DFO.  :P

I'm okay with it, but eeehh.

Yeah but you never really need to except for a few enemies (those enemies being certain high powered ranged units)

The game really knows how to keep the pace so if you know how to play well you can really just rush and kill everything and are rewarded for it.

I am starting to want to play this again... but at the same time I remember why I quit. It is one of those moments where you remember what you loved more strongly then the reasons why you stopped...

Okay, I'm getting this now. Let's see how bad I get my ass kicked.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

I will outright say this now

If I didn't have to pay for box space (which was needed where I was in the game) then I'd probably still be playing this game now.
