Anyway, given that the bird kept pecking at the window when it was half-open, I'd say for certain that it's attacking its reflection, which it thinks is a rival sparrow. It would explain the poop too, they, launch it at each other (I've seen hummingbirds do this). Either paper over the window or see if you can distract it with a mirror. You could also just try to sneak up and whack it with a newspaper or something.

I actually dont like ponies, but it would be hilarious, you know, there are almost none genres that end with core or grind, it would be an productive addition to all genres.
