As for my case, the very abridged version was that I felt you and FD were being far too cozy with each other for it to be coincidence (it was reply 241, if anyone is interested, with me and FD having a few back-and-forth posts after that). I then believe that you then bussed FD. I'm not
completely certain that's what your vote was, but it makes a certain degree of sense to me.
With both me and CA voting FD, and FD's case picked apart, FD's scumbuddy would be in a bad spot. FD can't reasonably be expected to put together a strong case on someone in such a short period of time. Even if he did make a stab at someone, it may very well have been viewed as an act of desperation, and you can be certain everyone would be highly critical. The writing was on the wall.
Which means, if me and CA didn't move our votes, then 3 votes of 4 (FD, Shake, Theo, and Tir) would need to be in agreement on a lynch target. Considering that you (Shake) were Theo's primary suspect, and Tir had a FoS on you, it seemed unlikely. If I was in the scum's position, I would try to bus my scumbuddy once it was apparent that he was likely getting lynched and there was no way to get out of it. Better to improve town credentials if given the chance, yes?
I believe you decided to bus on
this post. You don't see a way to get FD out of the lynch, but you definitely want to confirm the plan with FD before committing, since backing off the lynch vote once made would look shady as hell. You commit to the FD lynch
here, at the same time FD takes on a more subdued tone. It could be coincidence, it could be FD responding to your post, I don't (and can't) know.
I think bussing FD was the best option in a bad lot, and you went with it. There are meta factors as well, but I didn't take those into consideration.
