((Shade's room))

From outside, one might hear things like:
"SQWAK! SQWAK!"
"It's ALIVE!"
"Cocco-dè!"
"okay, that one is broken."
"MAGMA CRAB!"
"Not you again!"
Then, the door opens, and closes once more, unknowing how much time actually passed, Shade double checks that his door is closed, before leaving to grab a snack out of some boyscout...russian boyscouts should exists. They've got the most tender meat, as long as you mince them pretty well.
"I'm going out for a while!" he yells in the hallway.
"I advise against entering in my room! Furtuka, you know why!"
then the door opens, and closes, and shade is outside in the bitter cold russian wind, searching for those damn and pesky boyscouts. Well, stupid hymns and songs will guide him.

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

"Is it safe for anything?" Fniff asks, looking at Furtuka.

"Good point. You guys didn't like, sell the library or anything right? I'm gonna go up there and see if I can establish some sort of link to allow Kaladar to be capable from traveling between his spot in the subbasement and the surface."

((Guitar Lights!))

"Let's see red in to white out... up the output to 60% and... perfect." Alex, now wearing a charred beanie, removed his goggles and admired the handiwork before him. He only shocked himself twice and made a fully functional set of guitar lasers! Well... not exactly. He made a set of guitar lights that lit up when he played, but all he needed to was get some pen lasers and he was good to go. He decided to swap out his !!SCIENCE!! clothes for something more suitable-a black shirt with red stripes, coupled with a red-banded trilby. He also got some black tape for his hands, and on the reverse he signed, in red marker, Ex. He grabbed his guitar and made his way downstairs.

"I am ze mad scientist. I have GUITAR LIGHTS!"  With the dramatic phrasing, he held the neck of the guitar high for all to see in a Legend of Zelda-esque pose. "Who wants to see me test this thing?"

Fniff snickers. "Mad science? That's barely anxious sociology."

"Oh yeah? Well-" Alex interupts himself with a Cm chord, aiming the lasers lights at Fniff. He smirked. "If I had lasers you would be dead." Alex doffed his hat, tossed currency (in paper form) of some value to cover his slice of pizza and sat on the stair, playing a few simple melodies to light up the wall.

Fniff stares at the lights, then frowns. "Riiight, I'm not poking you with a 100m stick in a mech."

"Alroight then, I'll just take it. Thanks mate."
Spinal takes a slice of pizza and examines it. Koala and Carp. His favorite.

Three heavy 'raps' are heard on the main doorway. A voice calls out from behind the wall "Are you still accepting tenants, or should I be on my merry way?" with a hint of hope that anybody is in earshot.
