Ochita slowly rose his head up, eyes a bit red. "Y..Yeah.. I'm sorry, but I need to be alone for a bit. I'll see you in class later, okay?" Slowly getting up and getting his bag, Ochita leaves the lunchroom, before heading up to the roof. There he sighs and leans against a wall. "Archangel,  I've been wondering something. Why was there a demon here? And from what it seems, undine was trapped here.. And the principle.. I think after school, we should investigate this place.."

As you look upon the Tokyo skyline, it seems a lot more depressing than it did a few days ago. The wind blows against your face, and Archangel stands tall by your side.

(Archangel): "You would be wise to investigate. However, I can see there is fog in your mind. Perhaps I could tell you a tale about my home world to clear it up."

(Archangel): "Lowly cherubs, angels and archangels like I do not have 'families' nor 'friends' - these concepts are foreign to us. However, we are drawn towards each other solely because our fates our intertwined by being alike. Often one angel can go to do good on Earth and find himself surrounded by others inexplicably. It is the way of things, and we do not question it."

(Archangel): "I do not have great knowledge about Personas and their Wielders. However, since joining you I have noticed that demons are drawn to Wielders, and by this Wielders are drawn to other Wielders. This, too, must be because your fates were intertwined from the very beginning."

((I'll let Ochita finish up then we'll scene change.))

[Ochita]

Ochita looked up at the fair day. "Fates, hmm.. I guess life can be weird like that. I still feel bad about things that have happened... A death and a possible breaking somebodies mind, but... I can't really just let myself shut down." Ochita gives an uncertain smile. "Well. I guess its almost time for class."

Several classes later, the group is on the school's roof. Surprising the administration keeps it unlocked given how dangerous it would be to fall or be pushed off the edges. From three stories up, the boys and their Personas can see quite a bit of the city. Nearby, cherry trees blow in the soft Spring breeze.

(GAIA): "So what's the plan, then? This school gets weirder by the day."

>Liam: Finish school.

Liam stands near the school's front doors. It's already after 3:00 PM. If he joined those kids on the roof then he'd probably miss meeting up with the strange man and getting his "gift"... on the other hand, there's no telling what that "gift" would be.

God, this walk gets creepier by the second, Thought Liam as he buried his hands into his pockets and quickened his pace. Better hurry home before anything else happens.

>Liam: You should know the way from here. Hurry home before the Japanese tentacle monsters attack. Those exist, right?

Yeah, Past Liam knows the way. He starts walking in the surefire direction of his house. As he continues his walk, the pavement seems to crack and crumble under his feet. He trips on the broken ground and falls on his hands. The nearby bystanders laugh and point-

*BAMF*

All was darkness for a moment, but not for longer. Light filled Liam's vision, and he saw a burly man giving him a nasty look from above. He came to his senses and realized where he was.

Fight club.

(Burly man): "Ey, whaddi tell ya' ref? Boy's too young to be in ser'us matches! He blacked out for a whole minute!"

Ow. The right side of Liam's head had a welt on it... was that a vision? How much of that actually happened? All he could tell was he was in a ring match with this guy, and apparently losing. The referee, seeing that he was awake now, stepped out of the ring.

(Burly man): "Ready to go again, boy? I told ya' already, I don't like fightin' kids! Makes me feel like a crook or summin'."

I'm not 100% if personas work like mainline SMT demons(As in you interact with them), but then again I'm an expert on SMT lore not persona, but if I understand correctly personas are aspects of people rather than beings that physically interact or comunicate with their wielder at will considering that they ARE the persona wielder, it would be sort of like talking to yourself.

((I'm sort of abandoning the game canon here - I've played both Persona and SMT, and the ones in this game are somewhere in between the two. They're semi-independent entities, but they can't actually act or fight independently beyond communicating and I guess providing situational bonuses. Their skills are merely added to their Human partner.))

Current Liam:
I don't think I trust a random stranger on the street more then I do the people who could tell me why gaint monsters are flying around. Liam thought. Free stuff or not, supernatural stuff comes before the underground.

>Liam: Head to the roof of the school.

Past Liam:

"Your going to regret that." Liam said "I hardly ever lose."
Meanwhile, Liam thought about what he saw while blacked out. What the hell did I just see? Was it all a dream? No, some of that really happened. But how much of it was a dream, and how much was real? Whatever, no time to think about it.

>Liam: Get up and get ready to dodge the obvious attack thats coming from this knuckle head.

[Ochita]

Ochita sighed, and looked up at the sky. "Well. I think we should investigate the school.. Some weird things have happened, and I just want to see what is going on."

[Dermonster]

Derek nodded hesitantly.

"I'd rather we go find this SYNTECH, actually, but there don't seem to be any good leads." He frowns. "And I find it really unusual that at least four different persona users have appeared here in such a short amount of time, and have been found by whoever they are so quickly. The school itself seems like a decent enough place to start, as it seems to be some sort of trouble magnet."

[Ochita]

"Oh! Well about the leads to SYNTECH. That crazy teacher, the one who gave us the test belives that the principle has a connection to syntech. Its a possible lead.." Ochita shrugs

Derek nodded hesitantly.

"I'd rather we go find this SYNTECH, actually, but there don't seem to be any good leads." He frowns. (GAIA): "It IS a little strange. Maybe you're all being activated for some purpose or another."

(Undine): "Investigation seems like a good idea... but where would we start in the school?"

(Akihiro): "Water Lady, the school is only so big! It can't be that hard."

>Liam: Head to the roof of the school.

Persona-less Liam almost surprises the others by walking out of the rooftop doorway and joining them.

>Liam: Get up and get ready to dodge the obvious attack thats coming from this knuckle head.

(Burly man): "Regret it? Big talk for such a sissy boy!"

Liam just barely makes his way to his feet when he feels the man's lightning-fast fist hit his chest and knocked the breath out of him. He stands his ground but is visibly shaken. Rowdy men and women in the crowd raise their alcohol into the air, cheering for the fight to be on again. This wasn't natural for Liam. Something must have shaken him up before he'd blacked out.

((A note to JF: if you could explain why either of your aspects might be useful here, you could use them to get a +2 to your next roll.))

SYNTEC:
-Led by Akira Moriya Sr. He seeks to create weapons to fight demons by doing experiments on Persona wielders. He killed Ai this way.
-Akira Moriya Jr. is the former's faithful son. He apparently was in on a lot of the horrible experiments and tried to capture Ochita. He died to Gaia's Zio.
-Apparently hasn't yet succeeded in creating weapons that can combat demons.
-HAS created eyewear that lets normal Humans see demons.
-Might have connections to the high school based on Yokoyama's ranting. Might just be Yokoyama.
The red-haired girl and her cohorts:
-Apparently another group of Persona-wielders who are also in contact with Igor.
-Consists of two Hoshinos (one of which is probably the red-haired girl) and a man named Sakana (though Nori/Ochita missed this detail).
-Doesn't have problems with abusing or fusing Personas.
-Possibly has access to SYNTEC weaponry.
Aaron Cata
-Apparently an independent Persona-wielder who actively opposes organizations that cause demon-related trouble.
-Knows about both SYNTEC and the other group of Wielders
Aiko Kuroda
-Seems to not know about Akira and his fathers' evil motives.
-Believes Akira to be alive. Or maybe he really is.
Otherworldly Troublemaker
-Some entity or group of entities not residing on Earth who are messing with the Persona-gaining process. May or may not have had to do with Undine's capture.

[Dermonster]

Derek blinked, thoroughly derailed from his thoughts.

"Oh! You're here, good. You probably have questions, but first there must be introductions. My name is Derek Cata. This is Gaia, Ochita, Archangel Akihiro, and Undine." He said pointing at each in turn.

[Ochita]

"Well, I think the activation thing is happening because of a war starting between heaven and hell. Presumably, we're activating for one side or another." Ochita shrugs, and nods towards archangel. "Archey here pretty much said so, as well as the demon-dog before it died. Plus with me having an angel and all, I think I'm supposed to help heaven.."

Ochita shrugs again, and then stays put.
