In Moscow, there is a new apartment building opening up after renovations. It's a relatively normal apartment, some grisly rumors about mysterious deaths in the basement, but those all stopped yonks ago. It has an efficient boiler room, a common room and a rooftop that allows you to see this beautiful city's landmarks. The apartment is also conveniently nearby such amenities as shops, cinemas and other fun activities. Fniff and Jim are your landlords, and will accept payment by cash, check or credit card. We are happy to accept you into the new Bay 12 Apartments!

This is a revival of
the freeform RP Keeping Up With Bay12. It was a respectable RP with 150 page count that was among the few Freeformers who died a graceful death. The premise was that you are living in an apartment building and are allowed to do anything. Well, this is similar, but there's a catch. You can't just do anything, or you'll end up in chaos like at some points in the Freeformer. So, let's introduce you to the system of "Ignoring".
If someone is not following the rules (Below), then we advise you to PM me or JC6036 about it. We will say that their godmodding post was non-canon, and PM them with tips and pointers about improving and not doing the same thing as before. If they do it again, then we will place them on the "Ignore" list. Remember to look at it if you are reading this for the first time and occasionally check it! If someone is on this list, then the other players should ignore them. They can appeal by PMing us.
1. Do not kill players, hinder players or destroy player constructions without their approval.
2. Use correct spelling and grammar.
3. This RP is focused on relationships, and relationships are not always friendly. Do not take insults in the game itself as insults to you, it is merely RP.
4. Any major world changing events will be decided by vote. First, you will vote to see if it happened/was effective. If the majority is yes, then you will vote for the consequences. If, for example, you destroy heaven, the results will be decided arranged from negative, mediocre and positive. "Everyone goes into a suicidal despair", "Nothing changes" and "The world begins to get better as God was holding the universe back from true freedom." New options are added via asking for them ("I want this to be set in San Fransisco!") and then someone seconding it ("I second that!")
5. Do not attempt to destroy the apartment. If you want to plant a nuke or similar world-changing device, do not plant it anywhere it can destroy the apartment certainly. Even if it's in the center of the city, the apartment building will remain standing, but if it's just outside the apartment, we will have to step in.
6. Do not kill massive amounts of NPCs or do activities with insufficient equipment and/or skills. Killing an entire army with only an AK47 and two clips with absolutely no training doesn't make any sense at all. Using the excuse "But he's got the backstory that's he is a veteran of Vietnam even though he's 19! I'M SO GOOD AT CHARACTERS THEY ARE SO DEEP" is not viable at all if you have not mentioned such an essential character.
7. Do not create world changing events with just one post. Claiming that a castle was dumped on the apartment by a dimensional storm is not sufficient excuse. Do things like your character noting that the area around the apartment is destabilizing in reality levels, and signs that a storm is coming (Such as objects suddenly vanishing and things like that), and always remember to make sure it doesn't effect the apartment in a negative way.
8. Do not force anything on a player without consent. Turning a player into a pony without asking them is not on.
9. Make sure your character will not be shot on sight by a SWAT team at the soonest possible convenience. A winged faceless horror in a trenchcoat will probably be captured and experimented on. If you want a cool non-human character, make it so it has magical spell or amazing device that makes him/her look human.
10. Things that cannot be bought in shops: Nukes, guns and ammo (If it's not set in America. If it is, you need a special permit), magical artifacts, explosives, antique firearms/weapons that work (Flintlocks and katanas are right out) and exotic pets.
