So this zombie epidemic is looking to be pretty short-lived; mostly because the people being eaten aren't turning into more zombies. They're just turning into dead people.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler said the Miami attack gave him "chills," but he wants to hold off on banning bath salts until more is known about what drugs Eugene may have been taking that day.

So they don't know... ingesting cleaning materials in case it will get you high seems like a terrible idea anyway.

There is some confusion to it. From what I heard its not ACTUALLY bathsalts, the drug is just made using a few of the ingredients of Bathsalt, so people nicknamed it "Bathsalt" and put a "Do not inhale/eat" label on the boxs of the stuff so they could get it past Police.

The "Bathsalts" stuff is similar to the synthetic, and thus totally legit, cannabis that was being sold and possibly is still being sold in some areas. I know people where I used to live that tried the synthetic cannabis stuff and they said that it gave them a high similar to "smoking some good stuff" for a few minutes but then they'd crash hard and go into hours long "OMG I WANT TO DIE!!"-style depression. Some fucked up shit is getting spread around as a "legal loop-hole substitute" for drugs that is way worse than the drugs themselves. Okay, maybe not the Bathsalts because that I think is a substitute cocaine type substance and cocaine can fuck you up pretty bad too...

I believe Bath Salts is just the general overall name for the kind of designer drug that passes itself off as Bath Salts, and there are a lot of different kinds of drugs that pass itself off as them.

So I'm working on my zombie apocolypse plan, I'd like y'alls opinion:

I figure - step one, a nice pair of solid blade gloves. If I get bit or otherwise become infected and will begin turning soon, I can slip them on and fasten them before giving in, which will definitely help my offensive abilities if only by accident. I've got a nice helmet I can wear, military issue, and to help avoid headshots that will be a must.

Body armor would probably increase my survivability, but significantly slow me down, making it difficult to pursue survivors and leave me weak to kiting - what do people think? Rig up some basic body armor and keep it in a ready to go situation, or don't bother?
