Physical description: 5'5 in height and considered 'light' by his family. He has short black hair and an olive complexion. His eyes are brown. The emblem of his family ( a raven with two skulls for pauldrons and a bone in its legs) is tatooed on his neck.
Biography: The House of Welben is an old house, but not extremely rich and certainly not prestigious. For generations the house was in charge of all the graveyards in the kingdom of Volenand, organising all burials, funerals, rites, embalming, burnings, and what ever it is the dead need. It would be no surprise that the house had long tampered with necromancy, and even less surprise that the house raised up the dead as servants. Even so, power ever eluded them as they could not simply discover how to keep the corpses functional after a few years.
Albri himself was the 8th son of Count Fedrek Welben. As the 8th son, he never stood much chance for an important position or being heir. Luckily for Albri, he had no interest for that. It was expected of him to simply become a necromancer. For most of his childhood, he did spend his time studying the body, and how it worked and how to keep it moving unnaturally. Course, this then made him wonder how such things lived in life, which led to studying biology. To finish off his education, he also studied history and alchemy...although he forgot a few certain details here and there.
And so at the age of 14, he was considered of age, which for the Welben bloodline meant being a necromancer, which included a initation rite. The rite itself is rather...hush hush but suffice to say, Ablri was given recognition as a necromancer. As the 8th son, he was not given much responsiblity, beyond keeping the commoner graves and making sure that no unlicensed raising was happening. Then 6 years later, he received a letter. A letter to the capitol, requesting his admittance to the Royal University! Of course that was never to be. The Incident happened...and you all know what happened next.
