I dunno, I've played the GW2 beta too, and I'm not sure the base mechanics of the combat is as good as TERA. It's certainly got a lot in common but TERA's just felt meatier somehow.

That said, GW2 is the better game by miles in every other aspect of its being, and the combat in TERA certainly isn't massively better anyway.

Also some of the races in TERA were really cool. The lizardmen/dragonkin things, the chunky stone ones, and the little potbellied animal guys were all fairly cool. I think my favorite moment in that beta was making a character that looked like my friends dog smoking a pipe with an eyepatch.
