>Find more red cloth for Radovin to tie around his arm, signifying him as one of yours

((This reminds me of alt-universe LCS for some reason.))

((I sort of got that vibe the more I typed in that last post, yeah.))

You still have some of that red shirt left over in your shanty, enough for another few revolutionary fashion statements. You'll point it out to him once you get back to base.

Make a holster from the shirt.

You don't think that a clothing holster would conceal a gun very well. That, and you're not willing to waste any spare clothing articles on such trivial items when your current solution works fine... to an extent.
It's not hard to find mounds of filled bin-bags in the shanty town, although you're in doubt as to how much food its residents are willing to waste given their general situation. The idea of eating trashed food disgusts you, but you're all too aware that you'll probably have to endure much worse if you're serious about this rebellion (which you are, of course). You approach one of the piles and begin breathing through your mouth as much as possible as you tear open one of the bags and rifle through its contents...
Spoiler: Action Rolls (click to show/hide)
As you suspected, the people living in the town aren't too keen on the idea of throwing away food. As you pull your arms out, you realise that you've attracted the attention of the owner of the trash pile, who's walking towards you shouting and brandishing a frying pan. A quick wave of your .357 sees him performing an about turn and heading back the way he came twice as fast. Your little display hasn't gone un-noticed, however, and some of the other townspeople are staring at the spectacle. One of them pulls out a cellphone.

You hope to draw attention away from your weapon and to the opulent belongings of the unfortunate townsman..
Spoiler: Action Roll (click to show/hide)
Some of the other residents turn around and glare at the cellphone user as he raises it in order to dial a number. At this, he begins sweating profusely, throws the cellphone to the ground and stamps on it a few times, crushing it. He then grins sheepishly and attempts to back away, but he's blocked by vengeful shanty-dwellers brandishing sharp sticks and bits of rusty metal. He's quickly surrounded and, amid shouts of denial, is beaten senseless. You can't believe that that worked. In fact, you feel that you could do it again!

>Craftily back away, smiling smugly
>It would be good to get out of here before some authority arrives on the scene

((This has potential, considering the large world size and the political subtleties we get to go through. Inspiring rebellion ftw!))

You smile like a hyena and fade into the shadows as the crowd concentrates on the unfortunate scapegoat. You jog back up the incline to your base, where you're pleasantly surprised by the fact that Radovin has constructed his own shelter - it even seems sturdier and more spacious than your own. He looks up from trying to hammer a plank into place and greets you with a smile and a small wave. Remembering about the matter of identifying him as one of your own, you retrieve what's left of your red shirt, tear a strip off it and pass it to him, telling him to tie it somewhere noticeable. He's all too happy to oblige, wrapping it around his upper left arm.

It's only midday thus far, and you still have plenty of time before night falls. Your stomach grumbles, reminding you that you haven't eaten or drank since you started this whole venture yesterday. What do you do next?

Search for a pawn shop or gun dealership where you could sell the gun to raise funds.

You perform your secret insurgency handshake with Radovin, which is really just a brofist. He grins widely and continues reinforcing his shelter. You (very carefully) climb up onto your own shack and take a look around:
Spoiler: Your surroundings (click to show/hide)
Civilian gun ownership is banned by law, so no honest businessman will want to take your gun. Of course, lots of people have guns anyway due to the low-quality police force and military.

((Also might I suggest getting a map repository set up in the OP?))

If you do kill any forest creatures during your hunting trip, make sure you hang the pelts outside to show how rugged and manly you are.
