Sewer Access is labelled in purple on the Fast Travel map, and they're hidden in alleys, sometimes beside empty lots. A lot of keep dungeons and temple catacombs have openings into the sewer. Any town with a river along it will have sewer tunnels empty into it, but entering that way is a drowning risk.

Sometimes you get quests down there for vampires or serpent men, amphibian men, olm men, fish men, etc. I've found some pretty good bits of gear in the dry tunnels. But exploring is long and tedious, and none of your quest targets carry anything close to a reward for the tedious bullshit you have to go through.

Sewers aren't all that great at the moment.  For me, they were almost invariably devoid of anything but the occasional animalman corpse, at least in the dry sections.  The flooded sections had a decent chance of containing groups of various amphibious animalpeople, including the occasional quest target, but those are impossible to navigate unless you're immune to drowning somehow (simplest method, become a vampire).

Either use alt + 5 or use > (shift + period) and < (shift plus comma). I wouldn't reccomend going in, even if you don't drown or get killed you will probably get lost. If you are looking for loot look in the keeps, dungeons, catacombs and even tombs.

Sewers are pretty well only good for one thing - a second entrance into a town's Catacomb or Dungeon. At least, if you can find that entrance. Not all Dungeons have an entrance/exit into the sewers, and if you are looking for one, it might be better to find it from the Dungeon instead, then exit into the sewers when you want to leave.
