All 6 current members now have the opportunity to carry out one action before the next meeting which the outcome will be rolled for. Depending on the action and roll results this may require more than one response from you and more than one roll. Members also need to specify if they wish to attend the next fight club meeting. New members are always welcome, but you are reminded to not break the first 2 rules.

Mason trains Rocky Style, going for speed like greased lightning. He wants to be fast for the next meet, that hit could have been much worse.

Dan attends a semi-professional rugby team practice session. This week, focus is on running around your opponant rather than through. Dan has been training for a while, and is hopeful to get into the team.

Now, he's wanting to also impress any potential sponsors so he could contribute to Fight Club.

He will be attending the Fights next week.

Chuckie decides that he will use his spare time in between the two meetings to practice his dodging, so that he might avoid getting hurt next time.

Chuckie decides that he will use his spare time in between the two meetings to practice his dodging, so that he might avoid getting hurt next time.

Chuckie wasnt quite sure how to practice dodging (-1 INT), until he headed past the batting cages at the local park. He waits until late evening, and heads down there with a fair few coins. Setting the machine off, and standing the required distance away he attempts to dodge the balls as best he can (4+0 AG+1SP). To begin with a few catch him with glancing blows, but eventually Chuckie can dodge them with relative ease. Chuckie gains +1 AG

Sandra hits the gym, hoping to gain a little muscle by next week.

She will be attending the next Fight Club.

Sandra took her time choosing a gym - she sure as hell wasnt going to go to one of those corporate fitness industry hellholes. Eventually she found the one of her choice - a beat up old deserted tin shed on the outskirts of the inner city slum, with a faded wooden sign stating "Kings Gym". King appeared to be sleeping in a beaten up armchair outside in the afternoon sun, so Sandra et herself into the dry, dusty and deserted place inside. A leather heavy bag held together by more tape than leather hangs in the corner, and Sandra starts to work in it, left/right straight combos, body shots and hooks (6 + 1ST). After 30 mins her arms ache , but the workout has done her good. As she walks out, "King", still apparently asleep states "You hit pretty goo' fo' a gal"... Sandra has gained +1 ST

Frank trains with a guy on speed and fighting.

In other words, just try to get +1 agility.

Frank knew that the best way to get good at fighting was to fight. He also knew he could hit, and that he needed to be harder to hit. Finding a willing partenr wasnt easy though. In the end the answer presented itself. Walking the streets late at night, he passed throwing out time at a local dive bar. Doorstaff were having issues with one individual unwilling to leave. He was very drunk - agressive, unsteady on his feet, and relatiley harmless. Frank moved closer, and yelled at the drunk - "Hey, rummy, this could end one of two ways - either they will fight you, or you will fight me...". The drunk looked over at Frank, bonched his fists and staggered over, slurring his sppech into something that sounded like "whhhatevvvah yough say saaah". Frank didnt want to hit the drunk, and instead wanted to use him as some live firing practice  by avoiding the drunks unpredictable wild swings (6+0AG). The drunk swings wild right and left hooks in huge arcs, and Frank is able to wave or duck away from each of them, before the drunk falls to the floor, apparently happy to snore face down on the concrete of the sidewalk. The doorstaff find this whole scene highly amusing. Frank Gains +1 AG

Dan attends a semi-professional rugby team practice session. This week, focus is on running around your opponant rather than through. Dan has been training for a while, and is hopeful to get into the team.

Now, he's wanting to also impress any potential sponsors so he could contribute to Fight Club.

Being tall and large, Dan was known as a useful 2nd row forward - a good ball carrier and tackler, but not too deft on his feet. This weeks training was different for him - he now had a greater purpose to fulfil. He threw himself into the agility based drills designed to challenge the ability of players to use thier footwork to beat a man with massive amounts of determination (1+0AG). Alas, he was not cut out to be a Shane Williams, and his natural instinct to take the ball into contact and to use his strength won over the alien feel of dancing around his marker. His lackluster performance in traning means he has not yet been offered a starting spot in the team.

Realising how sluggish he was last fight richard tries to lose some weight by jogging

Richard resolves to follow the tried and tested way of improving his speed and endurance - jogging. This doesnt come easy after so many years of physical neglect, but the pain in his muscles makes a welcome change to the pain of yet another hangover. (4 + 1EN -1SP). Whilst RIcard cant quite keep up a fast enough pace for long enough to improve his endurance, there was a small but noticable improvement in his pace over short intense bursts. Richard gains +1 SP

Mason trains Rocky Style, going for speed like greased lightning. He wants to be fast for the next meet, that hit could have been much worse.

All cities have thier illegal immigrant workers, and this one was no exception. Casual labourers were hired all over the city to do the dirty work, and few jobs are dirtier than working in a slaughterhouse. Mason stepped into the back of the truck taking the day labourers to the factory, packed in tightly with almost a dozen other men. When they arrived, they filed out onto the slaughterhouse floor. Today it would be chickens - get them off the delivery vans, into the shock bath, and cut thier throats before cleaning up before the next load. Mason has no interest in the act of dispatching the birds - he was waiting for someone to drop one, and when they did he would be the one to chase it and recover it. Over the course of th next 6 hours dozens of birds made a break for freedom (3 + 0SP + 1 bonus [ambitious:chicken catcher]), and Mason was responsible for catching well over half of them. Mason gains +1 Speed and becomes a novice poultry worker (+1 to any further slaughterhouse activites)

Week 2 Line-Up

Late Saturday evening rolls around again. The members arrive at Lous basement where Tyler is there ready to greet them with the traditional rules, chanted as the fighters prepare themselves. "New guy - you are up first against Fatso over there", barks Tyler, pointing at Richard, who knows he has something to prove. Chuckie and Frank, you are on second. Frank catches Chuckie's eye through the crowd and glares at him. Chuckie cant resist winking in rsponse. Your main event of the evening will Sandra and Dan. Neither of them pay much attention to this announcement as Dan is busy cracking jokes, and Sandra is kneeling near the far wall of the basement, mentaly preparing herself. Mason, there is no one for you to beat down this evening, unless we have any latecomers to the party

Fight 1:

Spoiler: Jack Dendy (click to show/hide)
Vs.
Spoiler: Richard Leroy (click to show/hide)

Fight 2:

Spoiler: Chuckie Norris (click to show/hide)
Vs.
Spoiler: Frank Estaloo (click to show/hide)

Fight 3:

Spoiler: Dan Ackland (click to show/hide)
Vs.

Due to the lack of a new 8th member who MUST fight, and his lack of rolling an opponent Mason lacks anyone to fight - should anyone sign up within the next 24 hours they get to fill that slot. Hey, at least Mason wont get hurt this week...

Same as last time please people - general instruction for your fighter in the next 24 hours so the outcomes can be rolled for.

(damn. The one opponant I didn't want to face XD.)

'Remember last week. She's good. She's tough. And I'm going to beat her!' Dan thought to himself as the fight began. After unimpressing the rugby team, he wanted to impress the fighters here.

Head straight to get her on the ground, using his size to pin her. If that fails, we're back to kicks and punches, looking for a mistake from her end to get her on the ground.

Sandra steps up to the floor. With her hoody flung off, she assumes a fighting stance.

Let Dan charge forward. Dodge, and counter by grabbing him and then kneeing him in his stomach/groin until he doubles over so Sandra can knee him in the jaw.
