My life has been pretty much exactly what I expected. This could be considered bad, since I'm the cynically optimistic type.

I never expected to be in any foreign country for any length of time.

I never expected to be any good at public speaking or courtroom presentation at all, because I was incredibly shy.

I never expected to walk at all normally again after my leg got broken.

I never expected the repeal of DATD, or of sodomy criminal laws, or that any state in the US would allow gay adoption, or marriage.

I never expected a lot of things.

Yeah, typo. She tried to claim I was her child's father and get child support out of me. I knew the attorney was on the up and up, cause he had no problem when I demanded a blood test. Or rather he wasn't in on it, but she was totally against it.

I think I like my version where she tries to forcibly adopt you as her sister and you have to go to court and have a blood test to prevent it better...
