Yesterday was my OH FUCK NO day. Capped off by getting home and being told that my mother called my wife to let us know that she's going to let some friends move in with her (into the family house which *I* own, and allow her to stay in for the low, low cost of paying the property taxes each year.)

We had purchased a legal retainer through HP all last year in preparation for this kind of derp, and it never materialized. So we didn't renew the retainer this year, and....DERP!

So now I've gotta go up to see my mother this weekend and do the role reversal thing wherein I'm the stern adult figure telling her that no, her friends can't come over, and dammit clean your room up. 

I don't need this shit. I got 99 problems, and being a hardass to my mother ain't one.

My co-worker had to leave for the next 2 weeks and I'm filling in for them. First day without their assistance, somehow I was holding the idiot ball since the beginning of the day, and just about every opportunity for things to go ass-end up on me did. As if being treated a bit like a rookie by my boss, despite a good half-year of service, wasn't bad enough, but the first day of 2 weeks of working mostly alone (more like 1-on-1 with the boss) was as if Murphy's Law was in effect. As if my still greenhorn status with my boss wasn't bad enough for still existing, the day was all kinds of frustrating.

Day 1 down, 13 left to go. Oh, f--- no! T_T

Oh right, and I also have a client for this week to work with. OH F--- NO! >_<

These are going to be 2 long weeks.

The 'oh yeah' thread could be argued to fill a niche not occupied by the happy thread (though it is mainly down to a difference in the magnitude of the emotion expressed). This is the rage thread with a slightly different flavor.
