Is there a way to increase the meat yield of a specific creature without just increasing BODY_SIZE?

What I do is create separate muscle types, each with a different reaction token. Eg. Musclex2 with a mult2 token. Then make a reaction using that token with twice the output. Not sure if it's the most elegant, but it seems to work.

It'd have to be transferable by biting (or any edged attack), similarly with werebeasts - interactions dont really have much effect in worldgen. In the examples folder the interaction_werebeast file has examples of how it'd work.

I am trying to convert all of my dog breed creature mats into dog mats, but for some reason I am still getting unique bones, skin and nervous tissue on butcher (boxer bones, boxer skin and boxer nervous tissue). All of the other unique creature mats have become dog mats (dog meat, etc.) except for those. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

@Brolol, do you get any error messages? I feel like it might have to do with it not finding any material for the given tissues (for whatever reason) and then defaulting to using boxer mats. It seems strange, especially since there are no specific boxer mats defined, but at least an error message would put some light on the issue.


@MaxTheFox Using a conjunction of SET_TL_GROUP and TL_RELATIVE_THICKNESS:0 should work.
E.g. if you want to remove the muscle of the lower body, do this:

No error message. And, to make it even stranger, the mod successfully removes all of the boxer materials from other civs including embark (using a dfhack script that only removes "dog" mats). So, it is converting the mats and removing them from other civs, but not on butcher.

How do I make sure civilized creatures stay on the nest box? I'm making a hive race playable in fort mode and I need them to lay eggs. Could I just build walls around the queen to keep her from doing anything other than getting eggs to hatch? Queens are really just supposed to be a "designated breeder/leader", so she wouldn't really be doing much either way.
