So, I'm trying to come up with a blood transmitted syndrome with two possible outcomes. One outcome is fatal and the other is supposed to be a boon of an extended life and better healing rate (I know I can do this via body transformation). How might one go about achieving this sort of ratio, if it even can be?
Hmm... I'd go with "100% chance of the good effects, 50% chance of death".
Dwarf death is easily done with a high-severity medium-duration paralysis (suffocation). I guess delay the start of transformation until the paralysis-death window is closed.

EDIT: That and I'm intending to use necrosis for theme.

Right now I'm going for the ingestion route, with transformations (for the moment) only happening to the 'sentient' creatures such as dwarves. Basically like how vampire blood works in vanilla.

Im trying to figure out how to uplift a specific creature to be able to join civiliziations and be playable in adventure mode but not create their own civs, how would I go about doing this

If they have the INTELLIGENT tag and can join civs, then they're gonna be wearing clothes in all likelihood. Otherwise the animal people in (primarily) elven civs wouldn't wear clothes and armor I'd imagine.

The EQUIPS tag decides if they wear clothes, double check they have that.

It comes special with the subterreanean entity, they're hardcoded with pre-existing equipment to sit around those little campfires underground.

How make special material body parts for creature? Example obsidian talons, rock shell and gnomeblight vomit.
