So I'm making this new, skulking race called the ghasteel. I can spawn them in the arena and everything, but I want to make them more dangerous, as a lone ghasteel can barely kill a dog. How do I give them shoulder blades and a weaponized, sharp tail to slice and dice stuff? I'm also trying to make their claws sharper and find a means to give them a gorgon-like petrifying attack, but it ain't working. Help, please?

Okay, legless is easy, remove legs from the bodyparts and add flier or stance tail (for flying or slithering).

Shoulder blade, idk, but messing with contact values can make the tail sharp.

Contact values with the claws too, and some kind of injection venom. You can't turn creatures to stone, but paralysis should be as effective.

Okay, legless is easy, remove legs from the bodyparts and add flier or stance tail (for flying or slithering).

Is it possible to add random "mutations" to the body without abusing castes? Let's say, a normally one-tailed creature on rare occasions (1 in 10000?) has two instead, or has a special ability (like idk, pyrokinetic powers) that does not have to be dependent on the caste. Is there any way to perform a RNG roll similar to POPRATIO but for other things?

Add [INTELLIGENT] somewhere in their file, and give them castes (near the bottom of the definition)

You can just copy/paste the caste tokens from something else like trolls or ogres. Be sure to include the line immediately afterwards that selects all castes again

This may be the wrong place to put this, but regarding the modded nightwings, I'm trying to make a "nightwing.txt" file. You know, the file where the special "intimidation saying you killed a guy in a weird way" lines go. Stuff like, this from the dwarf.txt file: "who sucked plump helmets like a purring maggot".
I need ideas for what to put in the "nightwing.txt" file I am making. I need ideas for these types of lines.

Long story short, there are uniquely structured raws for beastman races, where it copies whatever creature and uses a tag to convert them into a humanoid form. This tag handles pretty much everything, but defining new tags (I think) generally overrides older ones. The tags and whatnot can be found on the wiki.
