How can I make a creature (or a plant) more resistant to fire without making it immune? I'd assume it'd involve things like the HEATDAM, IGNITE POINT, etc, of its materials, but I'm not sure what I'd want to do to make it still take damage, but be hardier and more likely to survive a fireball. I'm making a Pokemon mod and fire currently seems way too powerful. I don't mind it incinerating dwarves but other Pokemon shouldn't be an automatic KO.
Those do seem to be the way to go, given how the dragons have HEATDAM set in the raws in order to make them immune to fire damage. I'm not sure about the exact values for making them resistant but not fully immune, though.
Going into the territory of creatures with multiple castes that have different materials - how do I have the castes use different blood colours? It seems like if I set one caste to have gray coloured blood, but the other is unchanged, they both have the same colour.
Also a slight problem with descriptors - when I hit the caste that's supposed to be made out of stone, it says "chipping the skin", for example, instead of "chipping the stone".
