Not untouchable. Try the D4Fs mod. Put the phantom down in the arena mode. Try it against a regular Vulcan. The phantom wins. Now try the phantom against a kraken. The kraken probably wins.

Thanks. I gave ectoplasm all the same yield stuff as feathers. I also gave ghosts massive natural Sneak and Dodge, and a hide interaction. I also removed [INTELLIGENT] from ghost adults and children and replaced it with [CAN_SPEAK], and I replaced [NOFEAR] (which made no sense for them to have) with [BENIGN] because that only makes sense.

They work pretty well now. Surprisingly deadly though with those grabs, but I guess that goes with horror stories of poltergeists and such.

Your welcome. I'm not sure how to make their grabs less deadly, though.
Wait, is it actually necessary they have grasps? If not, you can just give them special GRASPless hands.

Well I could but I actually think I like them being able to grab. Makes them (at least potentially) like classic poltergeists. Plus they're [MISCHIEVOUS].

Anyway, can anyone figure out why these battering rams aren't working? Sorry to ask something again so soon but this one is really frustrating me.

I literally cannot understand why these rams are getting errors. Are some errors just unavoidable or is there something (probably obvious) that I'm just not noticing?

Try fixing your Body definition.

the RAM is connecting to anything that is CATEGORY:CHAIN, you do not have CATEGORY:CHAIN parts you only have
CHAIN_FRONT
CHAIN_BACK

plus the RAM comes BEFORE the chains so it won't connect even if you fixed it
also if you did fix it, it would have 2 RAMs as the front and back chain would have a RAM each

as for the error
EQUIPMENT_RAM_CAPPED:DEFAULT:Unrecognized Item Token: IRON

[ITEMCORPSE:IRON:NO_SUBTYPE:LOCAL_CREATURE_MAT:IRON] => [ITEMCORPSE:BAR:NO_SUBTYPE:LOCAL_CREATURE_MAT:IRON]

Also while I'm at it should use the IRON that already is in game, and not define a "IRON" Material, Your tissue is using it correctly [TISSUE_MATERIAL:INORGANIC:IRON] but the Itemcorpse is not
should also be [ITEMCORPSE:BAR:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:IRON]

Thanks! It works now! I figured it was something obvious.

I guess I got tripped up because I didn't even know that connectors had to be before the things they connect. Seems obvious in retrospect.

What exactly is one and half months in fort mode?

In fortress mode 1200 ticks is 1 day (24 hrs)

And for growth time 1 growdur is 100 ticks, and if a season is 1008 growdur ticks (100800)

so 100800 / 3 would be 33600 for 1 month (3 months a season) and half of one is 33600 / 2 (16800)

So your answer would be 50400

That is assuming your questions actually was "How many Ticks is one and a half months in fort mode?"

If you're sticking with your current question, half a season

Ok, I'm having a bizarre issue that I cannot for the life of my figure out.

I have a bunch of transformation interactions that turn the user into a more buffed out form - the issue is, with some of them holding onto any weapon or equipment piece (even clothing) drops their speed to 0.099. What baffles me is that this only happens with SOME of them.

I've combed through some of the raws and don't see any real correlation, wheter it be the gaits, natural strength of the transformations, or tokens like [GENERAL_MATERIAL_FORCE_MULTIPLIER:1:3] or [FLIER]. Any help?

You might have exceeded the value limit of the strength attribute if youve been modifying that. I think 10k is the usual upper limit for those things, but i dont have the wiki open right now either.

Are underwater sites possible? I want to make a fishman civ, but I'd prefer to know that it's actually doable first.

What is the maximum number of kittens/puppies you've seen born in a DF litter? I'm trying to confirm if the default littersize is 1-3 (in the absence of littersize or multilitter tags).

I think that was it, I changed their innate strength attributes and now they seem to work properly - thanks!
