Full moon!
Confirmed : Zed lycans lose their syndrome upon death now. Shame.
On the topic of loyalty in lycans, they retain membership of their civ (assumed by them retaining their noble positions)
Are treated as hostile, and will attack/be attacked by other Dwarves
But should not induce loyalty cascades, on account of being treated as berserk. Will test this next cycle, if possible.
Not letting this opportunity go to waste, I sent in the remaining four Dwarves from the original SCP squad, differing from the first instance where I sent two, and things went a little differently.
The four were told to station at a simple airlock, but I started when just 2 of them were there (to avoid missing the full moon), one of the Dwarves was quickly bitten, shaken and wrestled whilst the other recruit let fly with punch after punch, which is when the third recruit came in and quickly repeated what happened in the first instance.
Long story short, one recruit never showed up, another escaped unharmed and unbitten, another escaped with the syndrome and will likely survive, and W.C. 002-01 killed its spouse, which put up 13 pages of fight. I didn't mean for this to happen, but this'll let us see how the mind of a Were-creature dwarf works in terms of thoughts. Something rather odd was that before killing its spouse, W.C. 002-01 was very unhappy, and after... Well, killing its spouse, it had no happiness penalties. We'll see when it reverts how it'll react to finding its spouse dead.
As far as weaponization goes
For a long period of time, W.C. 002-01 allowed the other two recruits to inflict horrendous damage on it whilst it brutalized one Dwarf and that Dwarf alone. Were creatures could be used to eliminate specific targets... Or used en masse for fun, considering it also put up with that damage in the first place.
Now, all I need to do is wait for the full moon to go down...

Can wereism affect ANYTHING?
If it's alive, yep. Going to test on animals later.
Just thought I should mention that lycans are not undead.
Team undead. Necros aren't dead either, but they still count. Ah, which reminds me, I happen to have one necro but I can't think of any useful science to do. Any ideas?
