Dwarf Fortress on 9gag . . . kinda.

http://9gag.com/gag/4223937

Seems that someone decided to cut out the relevant part of our beloved fun comic, though. Fair number of people pointing it out in the comments, though.

What you see is the original comic. The dwarf fortress panel was added later by a user of these very forums - the name escapes me though.

So that's this "9gag" people keep typing about. I am unimpressed.

You really don't want to go down that path.

Basically there's a really petty squabble between them and 4chan.

Wait, why do so many people hate 9gag so much?

I've heard an argument that they have taken a funny image or two from somewhere else on the internet and put their own watermark on it.

Basically there's a really petty squabble between them and 4chan.

And between 9gag and imgur. And probably a few other places as well.

I find 9gag annoying because it basically took all the old memes and introduced them to a new audience, mainly facebook users, them basically beating a long dead horse and screaming at everyone to watch is the annoying part.

That and the whole watermarking stuff that isn't theirs thingy.

Also 9gag is basically reddit, but worse.

And they watermark everything, often getting rid of the original watermark.

Ya'll could've just said "they deal with memes" and it would be sufficient for most people to hate them.
