I hate when I go to sell a slave, think "Minds as well use up his fight tokens" and he goes out and kills people. Now I feel bad.

I have been denied heads...  3 of them in total I believe.  I am not happy.

Also, Sweetie Belle is doing pretty durn good... she is new and has already collected 2 heads killed 2 slaves.  I am pleased with her progress.  Not so much the lack of heads.

Wait till you all get to the top brackets of the game, and your glad has serious skills. Then you will be able to use your strategies very effectively. And now being able to buy blue gear with gold only, it should open the game up to everyone.

I'll be blunt, I did pretty fine in all greens and killing people for trophies. 
Blues for everyone also doesn't really open up anything, the best gladiators would still be the ones that have high skills/stats in the lower-mid tiers anyways, before non-payers can accumulate the training points to get there.

The greens will do great in the lower and mid and even high mid tiers such as the blood gods bracket. Primus is tough, but with blues more accessible now, that will help a bunch.

Also there is nothing fishy here, I run a few of the top teams in game.

Also, cheap blues in no way makes up for not getting trophies. The champion's pack is now completely inaccessible to anyone who doesn't pay, while before someone might be able to have it active every other weak or so with good gladiators. Having double fight tokens, training points, and energy, as well as +30% gold is a huge advantage.

Yes my only posts are on this game because, I found out about this forum just yesterday from one of the veteran managers. He private messaged me the link. I have found it fun to read the posts from new players discovering how to play this game.

Also as far as the lack of trophies are concerned, I just ran through my battles in the arena for the evening and had about 4 drop for me on each team I run. So they are still coming just in different ways. The champions pack to me a luxury that helps speed progress up for player, and since I enjoy playing the game I don't mind sending a few dollars the devs way, remember they have to feed their families everyday just like you do.
Butif you don't have the champion's pack you still get to have plenty of opportunities to fight in the arena, tavern, and black market pits. Even without the champions pack you can still finish your build on a glad in about 5-6 months (that is with attributes maxed).  The game has gotten so much faster than when I first started playing, my first glad to be built complete was Eruption and that took about 13 months. That is with only 5 tavern fights a day and 2 arena fights.

Because silver is just fractional gold. It doesn't serve any other purpose.

Managed to get my second defensive kill today. Serves them right, attacking me.

I have to say, the whole dying while having death sickness thing is beginning to wear a bit thin.

Dont revive your glad until death sickness wears off then. I usually revive and just save my tokens.

Alright, I have two slaves to chose from. Which should I buy? Slave 1 has a good 8 point STR advantage over Slave 2. Slave 1 also has a 10 point INT advantage. Slave 2 has a 4 point AGI advantage, 8 point STAMINA advantage, 1 point SIZE advantage, 4 point PRESENCE advantage, and 1 point CHI advantage. Pretty much, one has a lot of the most important stat. The other one has a lot of every other stat, but has a pretty harsh intelligence score.

Whoah. Just found a purple full plate chestpiece doing tavern contracts. It doesn't have that good buffs, but the /armour/ on this thing is insane (73).
