Ugh. Ashenzari (Rage 2H) is up against nightmare, Cerebov (Dual-wielding Theatrics) against Panzer.

Panzer I just cant damage no matter what. Is it worth trying to outlast him? At max bloodlust and activity, I can deal about 1/2 his HP before I drop. I rarely do more then 1/3 his HP with mid-level bloodlust/activity.

Nightmare just wont take a hit! Ashenzari usually 1-hits everything in the arena (in fact she still does), but using the same tactic against nightmare is just round after round of her missing and him wailing at her. How come he evades everything but almost everyone I have faced in the arena and tavern can't take ashenzari's attacks for more then a couple rounds?

Oh well. Used both their free challenges for today as well as an extra trophy to give ashenzari another chance. No luck.

Well, Reginald managed to even out his win/lose scores, while earning me two lovely trophies in the process. He was also able to take down Skull Reaver, adding yet another trophy to the pile. That Urken Zweihander of his is serving him far better than I imagined. Bottom line is that he has managed to make yet another excellent comeback, and thus earn his keep in my barracks, making me a very happy master indeed.

I've yet to revive Ingrid, still dealing with the death sickness and all, but I can only hope that her performance remains top notch once she's in fighting condition again.

"I'm very sorry Master, but Armok has not proven himself worthy to battle in this month's Blood Games. Only top ranked gladiators may compete, so throw him back into the arena for awhile and rise up through the ranks as quickly as you can! Once he is eligible to compete, the Arena officials will send a notice to your stable! Good luck!"
So its only for the top gladiators ever, then.
Well, time for Armok to get rid of those accumulated tokens.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
And with that, he was sent straight to the #1 spot in Elite. I think I'll let him stay there for a while.

EDIT: Well it didn't take long for someone to challenge me

Armok is in Juggernaut now.

Managed to get a kill on someone who (IMO) really deserved it - a fully defensive player.

On round 9, after inflicting only minor scrapes, I finally inflicted 10 points of bleeding, which by round 21 (3 mins 25 seconds) bled him out.

Props to the Enforcer, for inflicting 30 points of damage to my opponent for his inactivity, and of course, for not getting in the way when I chopped his head off.

I ended the fight with full health, 21/64 end to his no health and 49/65 end.

Nipps... I can never beat Nipps...
Some guy who is extremely quick and delivers 2H-level hits with one single handed flail.
What.

EDIT: I wanted to kill this guy just because of his name

Holy shit, i just realised how hilarious it is that people are getting owned by Kadjb. She's 3ft 7.

Can you imagine how small that is? That's someone the size of a child knocking around massive strongmen.

#2:67-69-57-80-66-53-59
#3:59-63-79-64-71-55-62

Looking to make another theatrics(replacing my placeholder)...   Exotic weapons.  I'm thinking #3 is my best bet... ain't too shabby, what do ya'll think?  Wait or sink on #3?

EDIT: Actually, #1 Ain't too shabby either... though, the low Agi may end up being a problem, will see if a better one pops up later...

I'd get the first. I don't much care for agility if the fighter has more endurance and can maintain a higher activity level.
Or maybe I'm wrong, either way the first is the only one with a respectable presence wich I suppose is useful for a theatrics.

But then I'm probably not best source of advice anyway.  :-X

Woop first place in black market arena, now to wait as someone with a perfect score of 50 wins comes along. If not be nice to get a prize again, I got a shiny blue chestpiece last time.

Nah, winning by tanking is more of a War type thing.  I'm more inclined to my Theatrics going on the offensive, but yea, I'll keep her for now and look out for better.

Exotic weapons favor agility, so yea, it'll help determine how hard she hits later on I figure.

Just had an intense adrenaline filled staring contest. Doesn't get any more perilous then this!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Didn't get attacked by a pack of wolves or gored by a herd of boars at least.

How do you kill enemy gladiators? I just beat one by getting it down to 19 hp and then hitting it again for 70 more. That's -51, out of a total of 249. More than 20% of its hp in negative - yet it's still saved by the enforcer.

Apparently some of the races are way smaller for a given size. I had my Dunder go against a Trug - the Dunder is 4'11" and 297 lbs, the Trug is 8'7" and 807 lbs. Yet the attribute comparison shows that my Dunder is larger than his Trug.

How do you know how much hp the enemy has? I get the damage totals for each attack, but I don't see any indicator of how much health they have to start with.

Click on the little + that's next to most messages and it'll pop up the numbers for current/total HP, END, and whatever status effects are active.

My guess (probably wrong) is that it's an opposed presence roll, modified by any skills that make it more/less likely to kill/be killed.

Suppose that makes sense, kadjb is a spite after all. From the description, they suffer from some serious small man syndrome.

Edit: Suppose that's how she's hurting people with such little damage. She just beat a guy by making him bleed for 21 a round from round one and kept increasing it up to 43. She barely damaged him aside from that. I have a feeling if I ever replace her (I will if the win rate gets lower than 50%) I'll know exactly how to craft a better fighter. I'll also have the money to keep a newer fighter equipped.
