The naked gladiator thing is only succesful in the very beginning I think. Most fights then end in exhaustion, and not wearing anything keeps you from tiring out quickly. No need for protection when everyone is still fumbling around with their weapons.

Mistress Z is on quite the tear - I think I'm at something like 10 arena wins in a row. Despite this, I only just beat the second challenge yesterday. The bugger wouldn't DO anything, and he'd outlast me. I finally beat him by changing my triggers to activity 10, bloodlust 10 and just tore the silly bastard to pieces.

Today I easily beat the next two challenges - even made a profit off the second - killed him for two trophies.

While not nearly as flashy as the 1-hit KOs you guys are posting, today I managed a personal record of my own - a combined 40 bleeding a turn. I don't care who you are: with that much bloodloss, you're going down in a couple rounds.

Took another serious injury today - man, the temple wasn't kidding when they said that they were giving me a discount the first time - it cost basically all that day's winnings. I'm starting to see why I'm running into more gladiators with existing serious wounds.

I usually ignore level 1 injuries since they give barely any penalty at all. Level 2 and above you should heal ASAP.

Gikleii has this problem. He is at 2 AL for 4/5 of his Orders (the other is at 1) and 3 is the highest level of BL on two of them. The others are 2,2,1... Yet he keeps KOing himself. He is even wearing LIGHT gear, so I don't understand it at all...

Blind I think is the best.
Sadly, my Pinkie Pie had the common stun... (I don't know if the signature moves change/get better when you rank it up.)
I sold her off and made her into a Rage for that slight. (Plus Fluttershy was taken already.)  She did get her first kill today, shaping up to be a good Rage after losing many fights due to exhaustion...  it just takes training to make her better...

EDIT: Finally a 3rd Gladiator, put in a placeholder since the rest suck and I have money to burn.  Rarity and Rainbow Dash were already taken too, damnit.  Twilight Sparkle, not so much, but it looks like Twilightsparkle to me now since the full name doesn't fit.  Well either way, she is more along the lines of War instead of Theatrics anyways...  (I want a Theatrics to round out my Rage-War-Theatrics Stable.

It's possible that you're being too passive - unless you've got a lot more stamina then your opponent, you need to actually hurt people to win. I find it's safer to start out quite active/bloodlusty, then switch to a more "wait-and-see" style when either I or my opponent is running low on endurance. I'm mostly banking on inflicting good wounds and/or bleeding during my 'active' phase, which will (hopefully) kill my opponent while I wait.

Gah...  needs to be a way to search for specific gladiators...
All I have on my watch list is:
Armok
Cerebov
Kadjb
Urist McSlashy (Not sure who owns this one...)

Plus, I want to find my rival ponies and kill them, many times.  There can only be one true stable of ponies.

Edit 1:
Well Known Ranks:
#37 Boatmurdered <-- Armok
#43 Gorebathers <-- Kadjb
#57 Equestria <-- Ponies

Edit 2:
Jimmy the Squid versus fully upgraded guards, Jimmy wins ALL the time.

Kadjb is crap, go for velupes instead, she's my killer.

She has 444 health, anyone care to say how close this was? ;)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I think it's better because I actually killed her.

Well some guy that had a full set of assorted color scale mail (including a masterwork arm guard that had 47 armor value on its own) challenged Armok.

This happened

Considering it... would help to know where I can find your gladiator in the lists.  (Apparently, watch listing stables does not follow the fighters...)

I probably shoulda listed this in the first place...
Gimmie more B12 Gladiators to watch, name, rank and category would help a heck of a lot.

Well, if I can avoid fighting any more then Armok should be able to compete in the blood games in a couple of days. Any other bay12 gladiators going to join me?

I would if I could make it, my Pinkie Pie was bumped up a rank unexpectedly... from the 50s.

I've also found another pony out there...  probably a pony stable too.  I will have to target and find a way to kill her when I can.

EDIT:
Applejack has found Miss Demeanor...  Was she tanking or something?  Parrying actually?
345th Rank Elite (Probably bumped up a few with the fight there.)

Did you know... one or maybe a few of my old characters faced her multiple times way back in the Amateur/Fresh Meat brackets...

Sure.

Stable: The Ashguard
Gladiator (426th) - Ashana - Theatrics
Was just about to place on the Pit Fighter rankings when I got bumped up :( Now I am getting slapped silly again.

Pit Fighter (295th) - The Coward - Rage

EDIT: Blargh the fight tokens come way too slow...

...  I found something to 'waste' money on.

Achievements, you can pay gold for 2 slots to put in bonuses for the given fighter.  (It lasts 1 or 7 days, depends on what you pay...)
I tried it out and now have +2 luck on Applejack... for 7 days.  Worth it?  Who knows.  May fortune favor my champion, freeing the way for her blade's journey to the necks of those who stand in her way.

Also....
Fight 2556 — LISBETH didn't have what it takes to survive against CURAGA!
Ouch, didn't get to fight back much there.
