And I'm not sure why exactly but Medium Spike is sooper effective in the Arena (except the Panzer challenge, that bastard is tough), pretty much obliterating everything in his path.

He fits my idea of him pretty nicely, a cold and calculating killing machine that puts it all into execution and precision, not unlike a surgeon operating on a patient, except here the scalpel is a rather long pole with a big piece of pointy metal on the end and the patients are angry brutes.

I've started playing this, as a stable called Dragonsworn. My gimmick thing was that I'd have characters from the wheel of time series, but that was before I realised I'd have to pay cash to have any more gladiators than 2.

God I really hate that buy more energy button in the Black Market, It looks pretty much the same as the Fight button and for some reason I like to reflexively click it because I think it will send the damn bastard to battle. And I do it with the weaker gladiator ffs, two trophies I've lost that way X(

My war gladiator Flimsysticks' (I call him this name to hopefully make other people want to challenge me more) strategy of just plain tanking (a unique fighting style for war gladiators) is apparently backfiring pretty badly.

The Enforcer picks FLIMSYSTICKS up with one hand and smashes him into the sands for not fighting!  (+18 Damage)
The crowd hurls insults and sharp objects at FLIMSYSTICKS as he stands around doing nothing!  (+15 Damage)

FLIMSYSTICKS howls as THE ENDING (my opponent) drops to the ground from exhaustion and looks to the enforcer for mercy... who grants it.

The fight lasted 6 minutes & 5 seconds!

Still won, but I guess I need to somehow spiff things up with a bit more action.

Yay! Cerebov is level 8 only ~16 hours after creation. Also, a score of 15 wins, 1 loss. Another battle should put me within the top 10 pit dogs. (BAWW the fight that woulda put me in top 10 put me into the gladiator bracket D:)

I attribute it to my luck of not fighting anyone who buys trophies. This game is using a pretty hardcore pay-to-win system.

By the way, does each gladiator have their own set of tokens? Im not going to buy another if that means Im sharing the same token per five hours.

WOW. Exactly 3 godlike Primus guys blew through with perfect records to knock me down to 9th place.

Miss Demeanor managed to beat some jerk who had all-purple equipment...by taking his pathetic hits and letting him exhaust himself. Probably not the most honorable of victories, but I'll take it.

Dude had twin daggers, each capable of dealing 75 damage per round, and the most he could do against Demeanor's armor was 29, which happened exactly once.
