So stuff gets super hard to train past rank 5, even with very high stats (like intelligence)... How does one remedy this?

Its not too bad, my rank 7 skills are hovering around 35%. My rank 9 ones, on the other hand... 9% :[

Just keep chipping away at it. What's super hard for you?

Ranking past level 5-6 without losing amazing amounts of skill points. It's pretty nasty when you get one train for every 6 points you sink.

Jeez lionstar does your entire stable consist of rages? Armok and Threetoe both have godlike score, and both rage ofcourse...
I just checked those two of you after I was in utter shock how high Threetoe climbed with such a low lvl and fights. And his win ratio jebus.
So tell me are you using all your achievement slots or something?  :o

More so I'm getting the feeling that the entire primus and maximus bracket consists of 50% rage glads.

Surely that can't be a coincidence, it's kind of sad how clear it is the balance is a bit wonky...

The only thing boosting ThreeToe is the Champion's Pack, and I assume a lot of other people have it as well. (My main intention was to use it to help Armok get the skill points to max out before hitting Primus)

I don't know how exactly ThreeToe is doing as well as he is. I focused purely on weapon skill until it was at 10 so I could start doing 10/10 as soon as possible and it tore through the lower brackets.

Wow, after all the trouble that he's given me, this was a surprise from Body Snatcher:

Well at this point I'm just using ThreeToe to bully glads that gave Armok trouble in the past. ThreeToe managed to knock Testie Popper from 1st to 4th with one match.

Armok never lost to him, I just don't like his name.

oops.

Well that was a close fight, if not just because Mistress Z is level 48 with maxed skill points and 1400 hp.

I know ThreeToe is an above average fighter for some reason, but does the game really need to put him up against maxed glads when he himself is only level 34? It's a bit much.

Bleh. Well, at least I know that (-Last Stand-) is working now. You would not believe the kind of effort needed to get that up and running on a theatrics gladiator.

Ranking past level 5-6 without losing amazing amounts of skill points. It's pretty nasty when you get one train for every 6 points you sink.
You can rank up attributes to slightly increase the odds of relevant skills ranking up. Of course, attributes suffer from the same issues as skills, so I'm not sure if/to what extent it's actually worth doing that.

Otherwise, yeah, nothing you can really do. I believe I tried stuffing a relevant achievement into a slot and it didn't seem to affect anything, no idea if equipment affects anything either.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

The problem is that it requires a lot of the relevant stats to make a difference.
As a result, any +1 or +2 by iteslf is going to make almost no difference.

With the +45 or so STR from her gear (giving her a total around 115 or so, if I remember correctly) X gets a couple extra % to train her high level skills (easily noticeable by checking skills that just require strength vs those that use strength and something else.)

So, not to say you shouldn't work towards those goals, but just know that you can't just expect to slot a couple bandit-killing (or whatever) achivements to get that level 10 weapons skill any faster.

Yeah, I can of figured training attributes isn't really worth it if all you want is a better training chance.
