Eh, on the Strength and Agility for the weapons....  don't people read the mouse-over tooltips?

1-Hander Mace/Axe and 2-Hander Sword/Mace/Axe = Strength
1-Hander Sword/Exotic and 2-Hander Polearm = Agility

I learned about the tooltip thing from the forums already... I just completely forgot about it.

And apparently I've either trained Armok poorly or Mistress Z is an example of the effectiveness of the Champion's Pack.

EDIT:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Thank you Dumar you've lifted my spirits.

And Armok just one-hit some guy in full purple who challenged him.

The odds makers are quickly collecting money from all the eager gamblers.
R O U N D  1
>> ZILLA SWITCHES TO STRATEGY 1
>> ARMOK SWITCHES TO STRATEGY 1
ARMOK tries to crush ZILLA.
Whoosh...several ribs are driven into the lungs!  (+770 Damage)
     • Stunned: 2 rounds
     • Attack Power: -20  (5 rounds)
     • Possible Knock Down

ZILLA cries aloud as his body is sent crashing to the ground by the attack!
>> ZILLA SWITCHES TO STRATEGY 4
ZILLA is pleading with the Enforcer to spare his life!!!
ZILLA's ass is saved just in time to avoid certain death from ARMOK!
The loser is dragged out of the arena!
The fight lasted 15 seconds!

Armok also got moved down a spot after that, but Zilla stayed where he was.
"How DARE you deny one of our paying players a victory!"

Eh I shouldn't be like that. I'll probably buy some trophies once I hit that otherwise impassable wall in Maximus/Primus

Damn, the blood games are tough. Ash is getting her ass handed to her.

And a different guy in full purple one-hits Armok. Which wouldn't have happened if Armok hadn't missed his first attack >.>

Armok had over 200 hp left though, and should have been able to attack again. But no, he just quit.

I wish I knew how the game chose winners. I've more health, stamina, less bleed, no other side effects. I'm at ~150hp, he's at 50. Ref calls him winner, ggs.

I wish the Enforcer could be one of the top-tier challenge fights. I am really curious about how the top 10 or so glads do against him in a fight to the death.

And it seems like victories are decided based on who would attack next, and if that hit would have killed their opponent. Or the Enforcer thinks it would have, anyway.

Except lots of the descriptions for critical hits sound extremely fatal anyway. I think everyone in this game is the medieval equivalent of a Space Marine.

EDIT: Heh. Mistress Z got beat by the same full-purple guy who beat Armok.

Just found a potential ThreeToe:

Strength: 75
Intellect: 79
Agility: 61
Stamina: 71
Size: 74
Presence: 69
Chi: 64

But what class would this be? I've been thinking maybe rage dual wielder.

Could be anything you wanted it to be! I'd probably dw rage w/maces, but that's just me. The Chi is a bit of a downer for a rage, though. Too bad you couldnt feed some of that int or pres into the chi.

Already bought him and he has proven to be an effective power dual wielder with a record of 5-0 so far. I made him human because that was the only choice that made sense.

Beating Minatauro got him a nice green warhammer with a little bit of a chi bonus.

Doing pretty well in the black market, too.

About that impassible wall in Maximus/Primus, how DID you get Ashenzari so far in. Sheer awesomeness?
Aegis appears to be stuck at the bottom of the ranking in Maximus and keeps getting her ass handed to her. Then again I still have about 25 skill points to set but I don't think my equipment is going to get any better at this point.
I've not yet bought any trophies and thus am stuck with blue gear.

Also how do those blood games work? I think Aegis is elligible to compete. She's ranked...177 in total I think.

On another note, Glaive is starting to suck less. Maybe it's the fight strategy I've changed, but this last fight was pretty good.

The Blood Games only happen once a month, so you'll have to wait until the next Blood Games start to get an invitation.

And apparently bashing with a battle axe is a lot more effective than slashing. Interesting.

EDIT
The glad who gave Armok so much trouble early on...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also Body Snatcher got lucky. Very lucky. He had 200 hp left and Armok used Rampage and hit him in his back leg. The one with a "common" leather legging protecting it. He hit an 86. Body Snatcher then went on to use Rampage and kill Armok with a 952. What in the actual fuck?!

I get hit with insane damages all the time. Getting smacked in an area with a level one injury and blown up for over 3000 damage isn't fun.

How'd I get so far in... I'm not quite sure. She's not doing so hot nowdays, only winning about half her matches. She's Maximus rank ~15, was in the top 10 for quite a while. I guess its a lot of luck. Is Aegis very defensive? I heard defensive glads get harder to win with later on, that might be a problem. It'll just take you longer.

The Blood Games is the top 250 glads (by ranking, I assume). I got in when I was rank 50 or so Maximus, so I don't think rank 196 will be enough. It's just a automatic battle at like 5am eastern against someone with your score (aka 0-0 face off, 0-1 face off, etc). You can get killed, injured, get kills, etc. It's a really good thing to do even if you know you're just going to get your ass beat. 1000g to get in (unless you are top 125), but 900g every time you win a battle and it takes no tokens or energy! Yay!

Nah I haven't really had a drop off. I think the wear your opponent out strategy falls off real bad over time, but I don't do that usually.
Aegis keeps on the offensive as well and usually wins fights on health rather then fatigue. It's all about keeping up the defense before going the counter attack.
That said I usually still dominate when it comes to a fight of endurance, and unless I'm fighting a rage I drag them out pretty long. Combat insticts and battle prowess means I get the upper hand on a drawn out fight.

Here's her fight strategy.
1      Start                           10        Slash           Torso           Torso      10
2      I have less endurance     4         Tank            Torso           Torso      1
3      I can not defend            7         Slash           Weapon arm  Torso      4
4      Opponent is war             7         Parry-slash   Weapon arm  Torso      4
5      Opponent is theatrics      7         Parry-slash   Weapon arm  Torso      4
I start off with the strat I use on rages and just switch when vs the other two. Got to really act fast when against a rage since it's over so quick, so no time for strat switching.

I've got a defensive theatrics as well. Does pretty much the same thing except she bleeds opponents out if possible, and draws out the fight and going for knockouts once I get that skill. Sadly she does not have a good signature move for this strategy, as I was hoping for disarm or stun.

Here's Sagaris' strat
1      Start                           10        Bash           Torso           Torso      10
2      I have less endurance     1         Bash            Torso           Torso      1
3      I can not defend            7         Slash           Head            Torso      4
4      Opponent is war             7         Parry-bash   Head            Torso      4
5      Opponent is theatrics      7         Parry-bash   Head            Torso      4
I'm still trying to figure out where counter attack comes in, since I bet that works good on the defense as well. Although it might be better without shield.

I'd just like to point out that it is not a very good idea to post all your gladiator's strategies on an open forum.
