There is that challenge/avoid thing, basically makes your dude seek out specific gladiators in battle, not sure how exactly it works, or is it just a slightly higher chance to meet them :S

Whenever I look at that, it only gives me a list of around 10 choices, and none of them are you guys :/

My guess is that those are the fighters closest to your own rank.

Well, if you see Kadjb or Liandra, they're mine.

Edit: Apparently Kadjb has a title, she is "the new kid" apparently. Dunno what that means.

Armok has that title, too. I think it's just the default beginner's title.

His overview in the stables, you can choose one yourself.

You unlock them with achievements I think, atleast the New Kid one is, trough the Fresh Meat achievement.

And yeah, the challenge thing is for the ten closest it seems, I'm right now 8th in the Pit Fighter rankings so if any of you wish a beating, work your way up to there and say hello :>

Unlocks the title of New Kid, and gives you that neat little +2 size modifier to equip.

I got sent straight to the Amateur bracket :/
So I guess that achievement is locked to me forever, or until I get a new fighter.

Well I'm about certain that Armok has death sickness. It sure would help if it would tell me or give me a timer for it >.>

He seems to be losing badly only in pit fights, though. Just got mauled by some guy who got several orange hits in by "trying to slash with his warped ball & chain". Everyone was laughing at him, but the hits still did ridiculous damage.

Death sickness lasts 24 hours I think it said, so just give him a break for a day.

Also I dunno if it was figured out yet, but I think lunge is for piercing weapons, like knives and rapiers, but I've never used any of them so I can't be sure.

And lionstar, was he beating you in strength? It's possible he just had a huge amount of strength (maybe? doesn't seem to effect damage based on what the tooltip says) and was whuppin him as a result.

I don't know what his strength was, but he was only level 7. If he was beating me so badly just because of that, then he must have bought a ton of trophies -.-

And yes lunge is for stuff like knives and tridents. Basically anything that sounds like it would make sense to lunge-attack with.

Well its locked for that fighter forever. I'm pretty sure all fighters have their own achievement lists.

Well I dunno if that was the reason, I'm just throwin it out there. Much like DF combat you sometimes just get whomped.

Well Armok has gotten 3 wins in a row in the pit. One of them where his only attack in the entire fight was a 278 damage hit upside the head when he was at 2 hp.

Training is so slooowww.

It just feels like an exchange of rolling for numbers to me, currently. Not sure if I want to continue.

Well isn't that how most game combat is?
The only difference here is that it isn't hidden behind fancy graphics.
