Signature moves are ok, but a lot of the time you'll just use sweep.

Sweep is barreling attack without the damage. It sucks.

Edit: My fighters aren't very big. Kadjb is size 68 and Velupes is size 53

Really? EVERY SINGLE TIME my glad has used her signature move, it's been a 1 turn stun. Which, while not useless... is not very powerful at all - and VERY often resisted.

It honestly makes me wonder if the game rolls a die when you get the skill, then whatever it picks will always be what their signature is.

My old Theatrics fighter had an eye poke as his signature move.

Size 53? Oof, that's kind of rough. I don't even look at gladiators if their size is under 70. Then stats in order of importance:
Stamina>Strength>Chi>Agility>Intelligence>Presence

It varies depending on your class, of course. Chi tends to be more important for 2H gladiators, while agility is more important for dual-wield or 1H gladiators.

Stamina tends to be less important at higher levels, since fights aren't likely to last for more than 2 minutes. (Another reason why trugs are godly at higher levels but suck at lower levels.)

Size isn't that important for rage 2H. My fighter wears light armour and the heaviest thing she has is her weapon. Her stats are pumped so high by the stuff she wears that she regularly hits over the maximum amount of health her enemies have anyway, so I figure its not something i need to bother about :P

What? He's firing from the hip.

New batch of slaves and another new fighter in the fold. I think I finally have a keeper this time, off to a good start to.
How are these stats for a sword and board fighter?
S 73 I 65 A 79 S 83 Sz 72 P 63 C 65

I kind of regret selling my other theatrics fighter in favor for a slightly better one. Might be a lot larger and overall more stats but damn it that other guy was awesome with his 15 winstreak without losses from the get go.
The one I have right now is
S 67 I 74 A 71 S 63 Sz 72 P 67 C 73
as a dual wielding theatrics. I'm guessing I need a better fighter at some point, intellect and chi haven't proven very useful thus far. More presence wouldn't hurt either. Strength to low as well.

Damn the current pit fight is interesting. You get only a single point for a win, but five more points for a kill, so six in total.

However, if you lose you get two points, so you could sabotage your fighter on purpose. Very interesting stuff. I've waded in with Velupes because she has a habit of killing everything she comes across.

Edit:

Dammit, she absolutely destroyed most of them but my luck wasn't good enough. One more kill and I would have been bumped into the 3rd spot, but the enforcer is a dick :(

Gikleii just hit Second Place on the Blackmarket Ladder. Hoping he stays in the top three while he is there...

They're just random, most of us just cut them out.

I've bought every gold buyable upgrade possible, I have too much money now.  Also, Jimmy the Squid vs guards?  Guards have always lost, despite 50% chance of winning.

I just need 3 more heads...

Well I decided to spend a couple of trophies for more challenges.

Armok 1-hit Nightmare. Against Panzer after a few 150+ hits Armok finished him off with a 400.

Tomorrow: Skull Reaver.

I wish it would keep records of Challenge fights. I forgot to copy either of them.

Well, crap. Tehsid lost three arena fights in a row and is now dead. So long, Tehsid, I'll replace you once a good one comes up.

Well Armok almost got no losses in Black Market.
How in the HELL can a low-strength Rage hit 2 300+ hits in a row at high activity with one tiny, one-handed axe??

EDIT: lost again to a Rage hitting a 400 with a single chipped broad sword. Didn't even hit one of my injuries.
WUT.

Gah, spent a trophy for a new batch of fighters, not one in the bunch has a stat over 70. What a waste.
