Woah, I feel out of this fairly early simply due to external factors (And because I was too lazy to figure out what was happening) But how the HELL did manamaids get involved!? Those things are walking crimes against nature. And comeing from a Holistic Spawn advocate that's saying something.

Speaking of manamaids, I rcall Oliolli once resisting the 'sexy move'. He then proceeded to bust a 'macho move', which knocked the manamaid demon out. Creepy, isn't it?

manamaids aren't demons. Just grotesque manatee people that like chainmail lingerie.

You resisted the sexy move?!? You must be a god. :o    And what's this macho move that's capable of knocking out even manamaids, who find their level of grotesque seductive?

Splint, I suppose technically they are "demons", in a way... Not in the spiritual, "o hai, I'm from hell" way, but more of a "oh god, what IS that THING" way. A human's upper body, as fat and blubbery as a manatee, with a human's face hideous enough to match, and an equally obese and blubbery scaly fish tail. I suppose their method of reproduction would be "sight-spores", DF spores transmitted through visual contact to the other member... which would explain why anyone who looks at them is horrified.

Also, I'm derailing this thread now... :-\ I think I'll slink back out.    Thanks again for the mention. :)

[I added Reudh. Couldn't think of what tropes fit him besides a modified Cast From Hitpoints, but that hasn't revealed itself except in the origin story. the Forbidden Masonry skills could classify as Blessed With Suck, I think.]

Othob had made it halfway to his room before collapsing on the ground weeping.
He could barely move from the sheer pain in his guts.

Looking up, he saw Reudh looking at him.

"Rude... you... help... Othob?" he gasped.

Reudh sighed. A note from Weird Joykill he received just prior to leaving with the peasants had told him that in the case of poisoning, clay and charcoal were to be consumed. Knowing this, and knowing Othob wasn't going to be able to get to the G-Bodies on his own, he lifted the sickened dwarf onto his back.

It took Reudh a moment to remember where Gizogin's hospital was; and so he took Othob there. Othob, naturally, was drooling with fatigue. He didn't look well.

The nine remaining G-Bodies were all bustling about; so Reudh sat Othob down on one of the cots, while the earliest one, GIZOGIN-I trundled over to Othob and inspected him. Reudh left the room, heading back to collect the berries.

[Not sure if my level of character for Gizogin-I is right, so bear with me.]

"SUBJECT: OTHOB MCDUMBASS. ILLNESS: ANALYSING"

Gizo-I took a small sample of the vomitus coating Othob's sparse beard and inserted it into a small canister. Holding it up to the light, there was a sharp mechanical vrrrttt as Gizo-I's eyes zoomed in to inspect the vomitus.

"ANALYSIS COMPLETE. OTHOB MCDUMBASS IS SUFFERING FROM THE ILLNESS OF A NGUMRASH FRUIT."

Groaning, Othob sat up.
"Give it to me straight... Gigozin Aye, am I gonna die?" he asked the robot.

"NEGATIVE, OTHOB MCDUMBASS. HOWEVER, I WILL ADMINSTER AN ANTIDOTE THAT WILL ALLOW YOUR BODY TO FIGHT OFF THE ILLNESS MORE EASILY."
Othob relaxed back. Every part of him ached. Gizogin-I moved awkwardly outside the hospital, and began scraping the walls.  Othob fell into a doze... this sickness had most definitely taken a lot of energy out of him.

As Othob slept, Gizogin-I continued scraping the walls. When he had completed this, he put the collected clay in a bag and moved to the nearest fireplace and gathered the charcoals.

Gizo-I completed both tasks and walked back to the hospital.

"ADMINISTERING CLAY AND CHARCOAL ANTIDOTE"

Gizo-I reached into the bag, pulled out the clay and forcefully but not painfully opened Othob's mouth. Othob stayed asleep during the whole thing.
It was only when Othob actually swallowed the clay that he woke up.
"Hng on... what are you doin' to my face, Gigozin?" and he struggled against the robot's calm but firm grip.

"OTHOB MCDUMBASS SHOWS SIGNS OF DISTRESS. ADMINISTERING MILD SEDATIVE."

And so the robot began a crooning lullaby that sounded horrible; but no doubt was meant to put dwarven children to sleep.

"SLEEP NOW LITTLE DWARF, SLEEP NOW LITTLE DWARF, THE STARS ARE OUT AND THE PLUMP HELMETS ARE WILTING. SLEEP NOW LITTLE DWARF, THE BATMAN FLIES OVERHEAD AND THE COW MOOS AT YOU."

Othob was absolutely terrified by this 'doctor.' He thrashed and strained, but Gizo-I continued to hold him down. Keeping Othob pinned with one arm, he reached into the bag and pulled out the charcoal, and broke it up until it was in bite-sized pieces.

"Gigozin, let go of me! I do nothing wrong to you! Why are you hurting my ears?"
"OPEN YOUR MOUTH, OTHOB." he simply said in response. When Othob turned away, Gizogin-I made a beeping sound and Gizogin-II came over to help. Gizogin-II opened Othob's mouth, and held it open. Whimpering with fright, Othob tried to kick Gizo-I but found Gizogin-III pinning his legs down. Together, all three robots gently but forcefully made Othob eat the charcoal, before releasing him.

"Oh my aching teeth..." Othob groaned, as the G-Bodies resumed their idle states. Gizo-I lingered briefly, palpated Othob's stomach and proclaimed "THE CLAY AND CHARCOAL ARE BEGINNING TO DIGEST. YOU SHOULD FEEL BETTER WITHIN APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR."

Exhausted from his ordeal, Othob fell gratefully into sleep and let the foul clay and charcoal do its work to purge the Ngumrash.

I know, the thing is, there were normal manamaids and manamaid demons that lived in hell. They attacked alongside stuff like tumbleweed demons.

You resisted the sexy move?!? You must be a god. :o

Oliolli is not a god, but created by one specifically for fighting, including resistance against... things like that.

And what's this macho move that's capable of knocking out even manamaids, who find their level of grotesque seductive?

I'd... rather not think about it.

[Oh my, I totally forgot about the stone-eyed elf Reudh saved... I can't even remember what page that's on.]

EDIT: The last appearance of him was page 70. His name is Kenoziathe, or 'Fierce-rock'. Shortened to Kenozi. I assume he's just spent most of his time in his room... I'll have to bring him back somehow.

I wasn't exactly planning on telling everything that Oliolli does, only that he'll show up at some point. Too much info about the enemy is not necessarily a good thing for storytelling. And as mentioned previously...

Also, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable telling what the entire group does. Oliolli is there basically just in case physical strenght is required.

[Bored.  I have to be up early tomorrow, so I won't be on much longer.  Oliolli, you introduced this Oliolli character, and as he's currently running around the tower, we're waiting on you to tell us what he's doing.  We can't very well leave the tower without running into him, and I can only assume you had a reason to bring him into the story.]

...but I'm not sure what he's after yet...

I mean, could be that he's just there doing recon, for instance. Although he probably wants to kill Oliolli.

Also, don't we still have areas in the tower that we haven't visited? He could be hiding in one of those.

[Ah, so Yellolli is a seperate physical entity from Oliolli. I didn't know that. Do they just have a mental link?]

Kenozi awoke from his long sleep. So, so hungry, he walked out of his room to find some food. He came across Reudh, and asked him where some food was. Reudh shrugged, then remembered the berries... and Kenozi seized a great armful of them. Chewing and quickly eating the whole lot, he spat the seeds out into his hands.

"You need these, Reudh? Or can I eat these too?" he asked.
Reudh answered "I kind of needed them for planting, so I'll have to take the seeds." Reudh collected the seeds and went off to find the six peasants he was teaching how to plant.

Kenozi walked off. He was at a loss as to what to do, so he drew a picture of himself using his new found eyesight.

[warning: XXEngravingXX, I have motor control issues so I can't draw very well. I'd much rather have someone else do a drawing of the current existing characters...]

[Actually, top idea. Who's the best artist here? We could have a drawing of the cast thus far. :D]

The thing with the oliollis is... Oliolli was my character before he lost his mind and was stomped physically out of existance by the gods. He later returned as a possessing vengeful spirit, first in a clockwork body, next in the body of a human axelord, then a random bandit, and now an oliolli (engineered killer). The character referred to as Oliolli is a single physical entity, with two personalities, Oliolli and Oliolli.

Yeah, weird.

Didn't Splint make Corai's avatar? He seems good.

I can doodle with pencil, and can do passable pixel art.

I have a scanner at my desk here at work. I would need a physical description to work with though.

OK, I started doodling an image of engraving, showing Kenozi making said engraving of himself and his engraving. (For real.)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Not finished yet though. Will take it home to keep poking at it. Not bad for a little quick and dirty pencil with the beginnings of some digital retouching though.

Again, to do "community group doodle", I'd need descriptions to work from.
