Mrhappyface watched the debacle unfold from his little plane of existence. It seems like beyond a few birds and bugs, no one existed on this world besides him. It was truly lonely on top. His house seemed to have been made specifically for him by the gods. He didn't get sick, he healed remarkably fast, and he generally felt better just being here. Both the pantry and cesspit were infinite. There was also running water and electricity? But other than this white adobe mission and this endless lava field, there was nothing.
Luckily, the fountain in the center plaza turned out to be a scrying pool and could be adjusted with only a word. Sort of ironic, wasn't it? Heaven was so boring, he could only enjoy the struggles of the lower planes.

Um, gizogin, the inflicted would no longer have the phyrexis corrupting them.  They would look exactly like they did before it happened.  See: second section of the ending.

Did you enter the ship?  You couldn't due to the guards preventing all who are not allowed in by the delegation, from entering.

Still missed this:
...the infected dwarves looked to be out of the picture for now.  They were just sort of milling about aimlessly, in a state of confusion.

That seems perfectly logical to me... I mean, after waking up form that crap they'd spend a few hours being utterly confused, trying to figure out what happened and whether now would be a good time to go SRM.

[@Zanz: No, that was intentional.  X doesn't know whether or not they're still infected, but referring to them as such clears up confusion.  I suppose I could have said "previously-infected," but it's a bit nit-picky.]

[Oliolli; You're already on the surface. The halo of light took you up, leaving you standing in the rain.]

[In my next post, shit happens. To outsiders. They are not long to live. Choose 1-3 of them, those will be the only survivors. These survivors will only manage to escape with minimal gear.]

It was easy really. You didn't have to move mountains to break dams. All it took was butterflies flapping their wings to cause a hurricane. Well, that didn't actually work. You had butterflies get stuck in door hinges instead. In this case, all he had to do was move a single particle to the left. He pressed the key and smiled at his handiwork....

"Hey, is this red flashing light right?"

"Which one? Oh. Um... what did you do?"

"I didn't do anything! What does it mean?"

"There's a label right there, see? Critical core failure imminent."

What did you do Hugo?  For your information, the core was pure mana, but you could've breached core integrity which would cause the same thing.

Those that survive are:the general, a human soldier guarding the ship, and a dwarven mechanic with advanced knowledge of the workings of the ship and weaponry (not the core however).

In terms of equipment: the crystal with my message, the one with my last will, one of the rifles with ammunition, their armors, and a box of parts (improved pump, certain gears, ect.).

The entirety of the slashdiver will not be destroyed, but what will survive will become a husk emitting gamma radiation, preventing entrance and recovery.  An emergency function would have activated, causing those that were caught in the blast zone to be returned to their home plane in good health.  The core breach would create a barrier preventing entrance and exit by planeswalkers and portals into this plane.  Seem fair?

Considering that what he previously typed was at the beginning, it would be preferred to find out what happened at the camp.

Going to be going offline, I give control of the survivors to Hugo.  I'll retake control of them when I return.

There's just a few problems with that, as you're about to find out. I'm sure that the ship would have many failsafes in the event of a core failure... but unluckily, a series of coincidences have come together to ensure that, just for a single moment, they wouldn't work. You shall see, next post.

Gizogin awoke slowly.  He was in unfamiliar surroundings, but he was too dazed to be panicked.  Looking up, he recognized the inside of the cargo bay.  The tank, then.  How did he get there?  Last he remembered, he'd been...

Oh.  Memories flooded back.  The dwarves, with those terrible black veins and red eyes.  There had been fire.  A burning dwarf.  Gizo X yelling at him, telling him to move.  He'd driven the tank, trying to escape those terrible eyes.  He remembered wierd, floating in the air, singing a song with no sound.

Gizogin stayed like that for a time, just lying there in the back of the tank, trying to come to terms with what he'd seen.  Finally, he sat up.  Wierd was standing there, looking at something in the distance, his back to Gizogin.  At least, he thought it was wierd.  His hair looked... shinier than he remembered.  Maybe it was the lighting.  He looked around, getting a feel for his surroundings, still dazed.  Gizo X was slumped in the corner, completely dead to the world.
He must be charging, thought Gizogin.

Slowly, Gizogin crawled to the cargo bay door.  His head was pounding.  Maybe he'd hit it.  He'd have to get it checked.  The thought made him giggle, and that opened the floodgates.  He broke down into great, heaving sobs that wracked his whole body.  Tears flowed freely from his eyes, and he curled into a ball, rocking back and forth slowly.

[you might want to change that to alpha and beta emissions... gamma emissions can go through 20ft of solid concrete. It would poison our fortress.]
