Looks like we'll have to advance the plot then. Oliolli, do something, arriving at the fort would be a good idea.

I've been at the fort for some time. Slept some time outside the hospital. Woke up. Joined wierd on his walk.

[That certainly sounds fun... You make it sound like it would save you time to redesign the part from scratch! :P]

[trust me, i only need to know where to send the bomb. Hawker's engineering staff have nearly given me ulcers once before, when I spent 3 months of my life fixing their engineering models to contain all the missing floor fillets that they pencil whipped onto the parts list, but conveniently failed to include in their NC datasets. I had to do this for ONE HUNDRED SIXTY PART NUMBERS! Of course, the fillets that *were* on them were also broken in horrible, mathematically impossible ways too. Of course, these were batshit crazy 5-axis parts on top of it all, with compound loft-contours that needed the fillets put on, and which made my CAD software very very angry, and required manual creation, and sewing of the missing geometry to the models, and a huge ass bottle of tums. (and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.) I think Hawker Beechcraft hires chimpanzees with diarrhea, or perhaps preschool kids with ADHD,-- instead of actual aviation engineers. I mean seriously! Those things went through weight and stress WITHOUT FLOOR FILLETS! Nobody caught that?! WTF!? LOL!  ...... And yes, I pretty much *DID* have to re-build the models from scratch to make them actually match the specified design parameters, because hawker couldnt be bothered to fix their own shit, or worse, actually do it right the first time. I had DREAMS about fixing surfaces! It was terrible!]

[dont even get me started on the 1950s (HAND DRAWN!) engineering from Bell Helicopter though. Fucking 50 layers of ADCNs! Drawing at rev new, now at Rev Z! Follow the bouncing drawing change documents, because nobody wanted to make updated prints! WHEE! Nevermind that the part no longer even remotely resembles the original print now! We need a digital model of it so we can NC program it! Chop chop!, oh, and if you get it wrong, we'll scrap the order, and they are worth 6k EACH, and there are 200 of them.]

[Yes. Sometimes i work in one of the many levels of hell, reserved for poor, disheveled engineers. Other times though, its quite nice where i work.]

-I will advance the plot with Corai murdering traitorous kobolds. LOYALTY CASCADE. YAY.....-

In ? Corai became the lawgiver of Frigyseblesh

In ? Corai no longer was the lawgiver of Frigyseblesh

In ? Freeble became the lawgiver of Frigyseblesh

In ? Corai became a enemy of Frigyseblesh

Corai thought that in his head, smiling. "Corai. Lawgiver, sounds nice." he said coming onto the wooden town. A small one and most certainly guarded, as it was a bandit camp now. He scouted the camp from a distance, trying to to find a breach in the defenses. He took note of the one building that had a door, it must be Freeble's house.

A young woman kobold was out hunting with her husband nearby, drawing his dagger, Corai followed then. The husband went out after a stray dog, and Corai slit the woman's throat when he went out far enough. Taking her clothes, and disguising as a woman, he hid the body and suit. Noone would be smart enough to tell he was him, as all kobolds look the same. Heck, your gender is decided if you run to grab a shirt or not when you turn one.

"Honey! Me get meat!" The husband said dragging a dog corpse, hugging Corai, who was creeped out and now covered in dog blood.

"Yes honey, thats good!" He said in a high-pitched voice. The kobold looked weirded out at the english, and shrugged it off, dragging Corai by the hand back to camp.

-LOLOLOOL CORAI IN A DRESS LOLOLOLOL you guys are immature bastards if you smiled when you read that. :3-

I think that the kobold houses are each made out of no more than 2 or 3 stolen barrels. Also, wtf?

HugoLuman and Vemini strolled through the halls, HugoLuman surprised that Vemini could walk somewhat quietly. Normally the metal elf sounded like a marching doom machine when he stepped. Guess he was trying not to wake anyone. At the kitchens they found the door locked, torchlights flickering from under the door, and sounds of a late night alcohol raiding party within. Probably the mining team.

How did you get that name?

Just so all of you know, I am going to skip nearly the entire battle, and just post the final confrontation.  Got it?

It certainly sounds like something a kobold would say...

I would have used "bunker." I got a thief named bunker. She got stabbed in the ass trying to get away from my dwarves, but ultimately escaped minus some unnecessary flesh. I remember because I thought it was funny at the time.

"Mommy, why do you have only one buttcheek?"

"Because I asked my mother stupid questions when I was your age." *seeths with rage and embarassment.*

Once again, it's been 2 days since you started building that thing. Doomsday weapons should take longer to build!

Keep posting those dice roll figures on how many battles are won/lost and to what extent. A war should last longer than this! Plus, we haven't exactly had enough down time to prepare for the resuming of interuniverse hijinks.

Everyone, I know the story is moving slow right now, but that's okay. We all need to pay closer attention to the timescale. That "we've been here 5 weeks" I said a few pages ago is a retcon. Reading back through it's actually more like 5 days.

agreed. Tone down the horror, or narratively skip some time.

Something like "Several months passed by, and blah blah blah.."

As-is, my char is nearly ready to expire from overwork, just trying to get SOMETHING to protect himself with. Last I checked this wasnt a haunted or evil biome! This level of insanity is unsustainable!

(Also, I agree with Hugo concerning "reggie", Even with complex CNC machines working nonstop, it would take over 6 months to build something like that, sans the engineering time.)

Sorry again about not being on. This weekend was the yardwork that never ended.  I cut down 2 trees by hand, hauled 2 loads of cut up tree bits to my sister's place for her goats to snack on, and only have half the yard done.

At least the trees are taken care of. I can mow properly now.

I almost had heatstroke a bunch of times this weekend; had to go inside and use a cold water shower to equalize my body temp. (I dont sweat much, and it was triple digit heat.)

Before a timeskip, I'd like to look into that ruined city. I recommend that we have a few periods of time before this war is over, so fast forwarding no more than 2 weeks at a time.
