The first component was completed. A fluted and grilled helmet of a knight: 8 feet tall, it was engraved with life-sized scenes of death and battle in gold and silver. Blood dripped in rubies, and bone in pale pearl. But this was only a single piece.

[I'm liking this already, but if the helmet is 8 feet tall, then how the hell are you going to get it out the door? It should probably be forged and assembled in a great cavernous room, with an impressively large staircase leading to the surface.]

[Damn, distracted by Tvtropes while waiting for more people to come online! Missed out on !!story!! Oh well. Remember people, all these schemes most likely won't be ready to fight a massive army with any time soon. Think outside the box!]

As Zanzetkuken dashed off, HugoLuman went to the door as well. "Weird, I'm going to do something sneaky. I don't know when I'll be back or if I even will, so farewell I guess. If you're not to busy with your pet see about guarding that dining room. I need someone portable to help me."

HugoLuman wandered into the dining room, looking for Corai. Having finally found him, he greeted the kobold. "Hello. I need to talk."

[Well, crap. Here I was taking a nap and as soon as I got up I had to medicate my cat, who managed to get a grass seed stuck in her eye.]

You have got to be kidding me.  Not a single person that could possibly affect the storyline is online.  Don't advance it any, because there is a certain way I want it to go.

[Come on, you've really got to either give us a clue or let us have our free will and eat it too, and work around the leftovers. Nothing we can do will kill your story if you don't involve ludicrous detail in the plan to begin with so you can work around the absolutely-going-to-happen change of plans, but you're killing ours.]

The pair of unsavory characters marched out the front gates and approached the dragon commander, standing over 30 feet tall when upright and balancing his otherwise quadrapedal form with his halberd. This must be how those Ewoks felt when facing down an AT-ST in Star Wars, Eric thought, and here I am about as well-prepared as they are versus a similar fire-breathing giant. Roead of course was only consciously thinking about how he'd end the siege and finally get his sleep. The dragon commander addressed them by name, then asked if they were prepared to negotiate their surrender to the siege.

"Not really, no. I heard that you're here searching for some refugees, correct? As my friend had told you before, we have no recent refugees and only a handful of foreigners in general in our borders. Is there anything else we can help you with? Oh, and just between you and me;" Eric made the motion to activate his power, "When Zanzetkuken was emperor, exactly how much information did he leave behind about our defenses?"

[This is for Zanzetkuken alone to answer, apparently.]

Deep below ground, the centipede pit had become something of a mosh pit, a psychadelic rave of bioluminescence generated by a completely blind organism. Eggs had hatched. Hundreds of softball-sized eggs, containing 8-inch-long disco bugs. The two parents had already grown to a length of eleven feet on a healthy diet of dead animals. They collectively reacted to their master's distress with panic, and he could feel a weak throbbing tension in the back of his mind, telling him that his pets were stirring.

"Nothing," said the general.

He knows everything about the base, but none of it came from me.  What I had pm'd you for was a different question, but that no longer matters.

The first component was completed. A fluted and grilled helmet of a knight: 8 feet tall, it was engraved with life-sized scenes of death and battle in gold and silver. Blood dripped in rubies, and bone in pale pearl. But this was only a single piece.

Are you trying to assemble Numidium?

Zanzetkuken walked out of the fort, and the General saw him.
"Come to surrender?" The general asked.
"How can I when the nation you are from no longer exists?"  asked Zanzetkuken.
"Then you know why we are here."
"You have come seeking allies against Phyrexia, but due to their pursuit, you had to move the entire force with you."
"Correct."
"I cannot answer for those of this fort, but I will fight alongside you."

Confused?  This was not what I was originally planning, in all truth, but this will lead to something more epic than what I originally thought of.  To war with Phyrexia!

[Well, we could just enchant it as a golem of some variety... Nothing says it won't be a million times dwarfier than either of those.]

[Again, should take a while and a lot of effort and difficulty to build. The numidium was so powerful that when it was switched on by Tiber Septim it broke time, and this was without the heart. We've got like 3 different people trying to build ad-hoc superweapons to save our asses, but it is kind of unsatisfying to just whip these things up in a matter of hours or even a couple days. In terms of power source, though, I'd recommend a water or magma pump engine, but in a huge gyroscope, because the necessary flow mechanics wouldn't work if it kept getting flipped and tilted.]

[Waiting on Corai to continue my scene, though it may be unnecessary with recent turn of events. Zanzetkuken, I don't think that this fort is ready to fight anything for anyone yet, though you could try the kobold camp. Some of our champions might be willing, if they don't feel that the fort needs them more.]

"Hugoluman, what do you want?" the kobold said, rearranging chairs.

"Hey fatass, get up. We need that chair for the barricade." he said to a dwarf, who grudgingly got up. "Dwarven fatass."

"Kobold runt."

"Touche."

-Kobold camp? Corai would definitively screw the entire fort by leaving the barricade undefended if the camp gets attacked. And Corai doesnt play fair.-

-Barricade meaning the dining hall, keeping fluffballs in.-

-Wait, Tiber Septim? From the Elder Scrolls? Why dont we just call on the Nine and one to assist us? xD-

You could send them some supplies insead, or shelter a few.  There are some legendary scientists that can create machines using plant life grown from specific seeds.  Basically an organic versions of Gizogin's clockwork bodies, but use photosynthesis (storing sunlight for underground skirmishes) for power instead of water reactors.

A poor man's Numidium, only being about 80 feet tall when completed. More like a dwarven Gundam. It only has about enough power to stay on for a couple of hours, but I guess that's all the time it will need.

[Assuming we don't die before you can get it powered up, that is.  Anyway, here's where things stand with the Gizogins right now:
Gizogin is in the bunker, taking a nap on the floor.  He hasn't slept in a while, so he's not going to wake up for several hours.
The other Gizogin (now positively identified as Gizo X) is asking Cog Wrathhammer about magic, trying to learn enough to be bale to communicate with the outside world.  Cog is not a magic user, though, so his experience is limited to killing wizards and resisting magic.]

'So, you don't know anything about using magic?" Gizogin asked.
"'Fraid not.  I'm more of the 'smash their heads in with a hammer' persuasion; all that spellcasting and ritual stuff isn't really my style," Cog replied.  "I did pick up a few books from a wizard's tower a while back, though.  I'm not much for reading, I just picked them up so's I could sell 'em, but it might be there's somethin' in 'em you could use.  They're in my backpack, wherever that's got to."
"I just put it over there by the door."
"Well, help yourself.  There were four or five books in there, I think."

Gizogin thanked Cog, then went over to the backpack.  Stuffed in there, along with piles of coins and weaponry, were the books Cog had mentioned.  There were five of them, bound in black leather and encrusted with gleaming sapphires.  They looked to be a five-part set, all written by the same author, one Jathrur Palathkir.  Gizogin scooped them up, and took them into his workshop to read.  It wasn't as though he was going anywhere, after all.

In the future, that is.  The army outside the gates is our ally, contrary to earlier belief.

Did you not read this?

Zanzetkuken walked out of the fort, and the General saw him.
"Come to surrender?" The general asked.
"How can I when the nation you are from no longer exists?"  asked Zanzetkuken.

Oh, Hugo or Eric are the ones who call off alerts, I think.
