Weird looked lovingly over at mr peeper's box.

"How could making something so cute be immoral?" He asked misty-eyed.

"Definately moral." Zanz rebutted.

Weird frowned.  Maybe he was right?

"A mutation like what you had made could wreak havoc, since it hasn't been done before.  Did you adequately think of the consequences of what might happen?  What it could do to others?  For you do not look like you did."

"Yes, what is that thing? It is kind of cute... in a scary way. Reminds me of when I used to raise tarantulas. Where did you get it, though? I didn't think titans reproduced. Or is that one of those beak dogs?"

Weird stroked a finger under Mr peepers' little beak, listening to him peep, and flap his little wings.  Peepers? Cause problems? Surely not.......

'Where did you get it' said hugo, still talking, but that's all weird registered.

'I uhm.... ah........"

"Well?"

"I ah.... I made him?"

I'll just use this quote for what I would say, if you ignored my earlier post.

Weird turned around irritibly. How dare he say such hurtful things about mr peepers!

He put a hand on his hip defiantly.

"I made him to eat all the horrible things that keep attaking this place." He said flatly. "Goblins, titans,...your scaly dragon friends outside...." he turned back around and continued cooing and cuddling in Mr peepers. "But he's just so gosh darn cute... are you hungry Mr peepers?"

The baby abomination flapped his little wings and peeped enthusiastically.

"You act defiant now, but before I spoke, I saw doubt reflected upon your face."

Gizogin looked up.  He'd been standing off to the side, helping himself to the food wierd had made.  There'd been a lot of shouting going on, but it had sounded far too political for him to be interested.  This, though, was something new.  Genetic experimentation?  That was something he could get behind.  He made his way over to where wierd, Hugo, and Zan were arguing.

"Hey, what's going on over here?" he asked.  "Seems to be quite a lot of yelling going on.  What's that you've got there, wierd?"

[wierd]

"I'm not scared of mr peepers!" He snarked.  "The magic I used to do it is dangerous, and very hard to use sensibly. It was made by that bitshit psycho bitch thari.  If you must know what kind of problems I've been having lately, I'll tell you!"

He took a deep breath.

"See that box Mr peepers is sitting so adorably in?  It was made by one of our recent migrants who got offed in the cyberman massacre....Rikod carpenterson I think.... anyway, when I first thought of him when I was looking for a nestbox for widdle peepers, the first thing I thought was about how worthless he was, and how glad I was he was dead.  That's not like me. Not like me at all.  Its been happening more and more often.  Earlier, I almost make corai suffer horrible boils, as an alternative to killing him with one of thari's "sublime #10" top favorites in the hall. While corai probably deserves it, it had a real hard time driving the compulsion down. Its not like me and I don't like it, but I do like Mr peepers, and I'm keeping him!  I thought about asking Eric for a compulsion to counter it, so I wouldn't turn into a crazy psycho killer or something, but that arrogant ass can suck my hairy nutsack!"

"Watch yourself Wierd, you are falling towards darkness."

Weird smiled at gizogen.  At least SOMEBODY appreciated Mr Peepers.

"You like him? That's Mr Peepers! I made him!"

Weird scowled over his shoulder and zanz. Hugo looked like he had been clubbed in the face with a mace.

"And despite what *some people* might think, he's absolutely adorable!...aren't your Mr Peepers?... yes you are... yes you are!"

Weird tore off a chunk of the rubbery "turtle roast" and fed it to Mr Peepers, who enthusiastically gobbled it down bit by bit, peeping anxiously for more between bites.

He looked up at zanz again.
"Its not like I have any choice in the matter!" He scoffed. "If you're worried about me, you should be doubly worried about eric! That dumbass sold not one of his 'marbles', but TWO! Who knows what's unreaveling in that megalomaniacal melon of his! I hope the dragons eat him! I've at least been *TRYING* to feel bad about those disturbing impulses! That jackass was in here all preening about how powerful his mind control was like it wasn't even the slightest bit unethical!"

[Zanzetkuken The Great]

"Here is a question for you, what is chicken doing eating meat?  And if you fall to your impulses, would you not make it grow?  And when it is larger, would it not kill for food?  If it does that, would it not kill other forumites, just because they are food?  Well, wouldn't it?  Answer me truthfully."

Oh, hugo, I am being forced off the computer.  You have control of my character, and try to get him to bring Wierd back from the path he is straying to.

"Stop harping about Mr Peepers!" Weird yelled.

"Honestly, the same exact thing applies to somebody raising a puppy! Would you malign a puppy fr eating meat and hunting for food when ot grows up? Honestly!"

Oh no no no no. This couldn't be happening. He was coming unhinged. And he'd used the magic. HugoLuman confided in him for his strong and apparent Moral compass. And now he was saying it had been surgically removed. Okay, maybe hold on. Maybe there was a good reason. Maybe this was a responsible use of the magic, he just had to explain why. Please tell me I haven't made a huge mistake, thought HugoLuman.
"Weird, ixnay dans cette ooksbay," he hissed. And now he was about to blow the secret.
