-YAY, KILLING AND MURDER TIME. I wanted mountainhome support, but meh.-

Corai and his small squad of haulrs dropped the chairs and looked at the loudspeakers.

"Not good? Not good. This isnt good." the kobold said.

"Okay, new plan! We may be able to drop these fluffballs on whatevers attacking, kobold. Find out." the hammerdwarf said.

"I dont like this plan."

"You respawn, we dont. Live with it."

I'm tempted to make a disembodied voice shout

"PIRATE DRAGON! PIRATE DRAGON! YOU STILL HAVE THE EYEPATCH AND STUFFED PARROT LYING AROUND!"

I don't know why, but tis comes to mind

The parrot's inflatable!

Maybe we should let Hugo decide, even if it is just multi-colored armor...

Maybe we should meet up to figure out how to defeat the siege...

[Comes back from watching MIB 3. Reads Thread. WTF?]
[I was tranq'd between the neck plate and shoulder plate of the armor. Gizogin removed the armor while I was hospitalized, and I forgot about it and left without it.]

Ergh. HugoLuman's enhanced sense of smell was not helping with the foul odor of the PVC rubber. The smell of that stuff had never been one of his favorites, in fact right down in the least favorites with dental cement and formaldehyde. "Wait, what if I snuck out through the dragon army and went to our neighbors for help? I don't know about the kobold camp, but maybe the elves."

"Still need a disguise before you can get out of this room," said Wierd.

Weird bit his lip.  How to disguise a 1000lb dragon?

"Look." He said after a moment of introspection. "We don't have a lot of options here. If ultra-mega chicken is out of the question, the only thing left I have big enough to cover you up with are my bedsheets. Its even more dumb than the chicken disguise, but with how dumb most of this lot is, we could possibly convince them that you are a giant ghost that I summoned or something, but honestly, they would have to have sponges for brains to fall for that."

He shook his head.

"As for the books... good question... this suit doesn't have pockets."

[There *is* a third option though. We can stand around arguing about it until everyone else has locked themselves into the panic room. The halls will be empty.]

"Wrap them in bedsheets and take them below. The personal safety of either of us isn't worth that knowledge being unveiled. I'll hopefully draw attention away from you."

HugoLuman carefully unfolded himself from the corner of the room and burst our the door yelling. "SCUSE ME COMING THROUGH THANKS!" Then he stopped. Looking around he saw that no one was in the hall at the moment. "It's clear at the moment. Let's get out of here, quickly!"

Hmm, let's see. There were two things HugoLuman could do with the element of surprise. One, he could take the time to address the army and maybe negotiate or at least distract them. Two, he could go to the elven tower for help. If he spoke at the army, then he might not be able to sneak off. If he went to the tower, the army might be ransacking the fort by the time he got back.

[In my mental map, the new dining hall is well away from wierd's lab, so you wouldn't come into contact with each other anyway.
Also, I know you're thinking about releasing the fluffballs against our enemies.  IT'S NOT WORTH IT!  No-one deserves that, and we're trying to keep them contained.

As for the comparison to Dr. Weird, I'm not really sure how to take that.  My hair is more ridiculous than that, though.]

"Alright Weird, good luck. I'm headed topside. Promise me those books will be secure!"

HugoLuman sprinted up the hallway. He hoped greatly that everyone was into the bunker by now. As he ran around the next bend, he crashed into Zanzetkuken. "You! I've heard there's a draconic army on it's way here!"

"Yes. They're after me and some political refugees."

"Thought it would be something like that. Have something to do with that coup you mentioned? Well, I'm going out. Maybe I can treat with them or alert some friends. I might die, so I'll take this chance to tell you that I might do something without your permission."

"Wait, what?"

"I gotta go! There's no time! Farewell and all that!"
