[Dwarven Pile-Driver, ACTIVATE!  :P]

The dwarf awoke in a strange room.  The floor and walls were a stark white, or would have been, if not for the rather thick coating of dried blood splattered all over them.  He lifted his head from the bed he was on and had a look around.  On several other, similar beds, he could see other dwarves resting.  He heard footsteps approaching, and sat up to see the same human he had met in the other room.

"Ah, good to see you're awake.  You look like you've been through a war, friend," the human said.
"I'm not your friend, human.  Why did you bring me here?" the dwarf spat back.  He didn't like this human's attitude.
The human looked puzzled.  "This is the hospital.  You -"
"No, not that!  Why did you bring me here, to this fortress of yours?  And what have you done with the fluffballs?"
"Fluffballs?  What are you talking about?" asked the human.
"They've been taken care of.  Currently, they are all contained within the dining hall where I found you," came another voice.  The dwarf turned around, and saw another human, exactly the same as the one now checking his blood pressure.  "Ah, I can see your confusion.  I was the one whom you saw earlier.  He" -The first human waved- "is my creator.  I am actually a clockwork automaton, with all his memories and personality.  You may call me Gizogin X."
"That would be Gizogin, after me, Gizogin, and X, for Mk. X.  You see-"
"I don't care about that!" the dwarf interjected.  "Release me at once!  I must return to the king immediately!"
"Whoa, slow down there," Gizogin said.  "We're not sure of the extent of your injuries yet, and you're not going anywhere without a clean bill of health from one of us.  Now, why don't you tell us what happened before you showed up in our dining hall?"
The dwarf, realizing that the Gizogins were right, calmed down.  He began his tale: "My name is Cog Wrathhammer..."

[I'm going to get a snack.  I'm not done yet for tonight, don't worry.]

"Emergency code 1 has been activated."

"Memory damaged. What was it."

"Kill everyone."

The last 8 cyborgs fanned out, preparing to strike down anyone they came across. 3 are the V1's, 5 are the V2's (chainsaw wielders).

Gizogin, many attempts I have made to create creatures to kill your fluffballs. Even the mighty Slallak cannot defeat them. This has potential >:D

[More robots = more things to smash! Just remember the first rule of melee combat in adventure mode: don't let them gang up on you, spred 'em out!

Brb, will proceed to pick off cyborgs in a moment.]

Hugo, you have control of me.  Don't get me killed or have me lose the blade.  I have a storyline I want to type up using it!

Wow, first time I made a reference and no one got it.

Tear em up. After what we've been through, a few disoriented cybermen shouldn't be much trouble. See if we can capture one alive for science, though.

[Not a lot of science needs doin' on a tortured soul in a metal body, especially if we have means to produce 'em if we really wanted, but the one I disabled with arm and leg shots should still be lying around moaning about it.

And I think we all got the reference. That's the first thing I thought when Zanzetkuken wanted him tossed down in the magma. *grumbles something incomprehensible*]
-------------------

Eric ran down the hatch and pulled a lever, sealing the cyborgs out of the fortress. They couldn't break down trusty dwarven constructions, like walls and floors, so the dwarves of the Twelfth Bay could now deal with them on their own terms, not to mention get civilians into the panic room.

He found a civilian cowering in a corner not far from the lever control room, who wasn't visibly injured, if shaken, and asked her to go spread the word, get everyone to the cavern column outpost, where supplies and farmland waited for them, and summon the Council of Forumites to the hospital to discuss their options for clearing off the surface.

HugoLuman, stuck outside the fort, scratched on the door with his claws. "Uh guys? Hello? Why did you lock the door?"

He felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, and the armor became instantly very heavy. Looking to his side he saw a small dart. Looking further he saw the cyberdwarves, the apparent leader of them lowering an arm-mounted tube. "Oh."

Hoping for a post from Weird, Oliolli, or Corai.

The spirit of Oliolli floated away from the fortress once again. It had checked up on the other Oliolli again, secretly, of course. The damage he had managed to deal with Osp's body was being fixed with clockwork machinery. This was the second time he had been helping Clockwork Hugo, and it had gone about as poorly as the previous time. Thus he made a decision to remain a lone wolf from now on, only possessing bodies for his own, personal use.
Time to look for another body again, I suppose. Something superior to an Oliolli's body.

Oliolli listened as Cog told his story. Chances were that it would be helpful sooner or later. At the same time he was waving his new arm around, testing out how well it functioned. As always with Gizogin, it was of hgh quality. Gizogin was still thinking which would have the best combination of ease and speed for his broken leg: setting the bones, giving him a splint and a crutch, or amputating the leg and replacing it with machinery. Oliolli preferred the second option, as it would allow him to work at full potential the fastest.

You know, I don't think many people will like your augments due to the Clockwork attack.

Get a Megabeast!

"Oh."

Zanzetkuken jumped from the catwalks, and sliced the leader in half, vertically, and causing a beam to shoot forth from his blade, which destroyed another one.  He spun and caught the blade of two cyberdwarves, then slicing one that was coming behind him from shoulder to hip.  He continued his circular motion, and sliced clear through the midsection of the cyber-dwarves he blocked, removing their torsos from their hips.  The remaining three had regrouped by that time, and were ready for him.

Note:  By this point, he is a leg. +5 or 6 swordsman, and has a reflex booster he gained at the dragon citadel, so what I wrote is possible.

Why is it that near everyone on this thread besides me got black mana on that test?

Don't forget me and Hugo are forumites and are outside!

Has this thread really been up for only 17 days?  And reach one hundred pages in 13 days?

The last 3 cyberdwarves suddenly stood to attention. "Based on current data, we deem that it would be prudent for us to surrender. We will submit to incarceration."

HugoLuman, apparently drugged heavily by the dart, flopped over. "Thanks for the save, Zanze...." he said before passing out.

The tranquilizer should wear off in a few hours, so no need to magic it away somehow.
