"I cant stay in one room for four months without something shiny." Corai said, finally letting go of Mrhappyface's leg. His claws had dug into it and his leg was bleeding.

"...Whoops..."

"Blood is shiny.....if light reflects on it...... We dont have medical equipment, do we?"

A smoky feathered serpents materializes from the gloom, answering the summons of droll puns. It sniffs the air and hisses before vanishing back into the void. Corai faints and everyone else rolls their eyes.

"Nope, but er.... This mini pick axe is made of some shiney metal. And I keep it polished cause it looks like an ice pick." Splint said, holding up the implement. "Does this count as shiney?"

SPHM, Vemini, and Ironblood advanced through the fortress. "There be another one of the skunners!" said Captain Ironblood.

Vemini cracked his metal knuckles. "Aim for the joints."

Super Plump Helmet Man sighed a little on the inside. All he ever wanted with his life was to promote dwarven wine to dwarven children.

Roead tried to raise the fallen cyberdwarf that Eric had slain earlier, but he found it wouldn't respond. He couldn't tell whether or not it was reanimated, but obviously those metal parts, however they worked, could only respond to living flesh. If it was a zombie, it had no means of moving. "Hey mate, these don't rise. Any ideas?"

Eric was on a rampage. The cyberdwarves that had attacked them were dealt with, but 5 more had waltzed out of Happyfaces' lab only moments later. If they took this much effort to put down versus the time it took to generate more, this could not be fought as a war of attrition. The Twelfth Bay would lose. The others had run inside, but he hid in the bushes near the lab.

Soon, he came to a decision. The best approach was of course to topple the whole damn thing!

With pick in hand, he swam through the soil under the wooden shack like a majestic sea otter. Within five minutes, without anyone inside becoming aware, the shack was suspended by a single pillar of earth over a two-story deep pit. Eric knocked out the pillar and - A section of the cavern has collapsed!

The shack spontaneously realized how gravity worked and toppled down into the pit. Some machinery that had been inside seemed damaged, and a very unhappy hugo shook himself from the pile of sticks in the center, screaming obscenities. One of the cyberdwarves had been in the shack with him.

Hugo turned around, and his face.... it was not human. Half the flesh appeared to have been ripped off in the cavein, though there was no blood. Only a bronze-colored metal skull face underneath with red eyes. "You insensitive prick! Do you know how much trouble it is to make fake flesh that looks this good? None at all!"

Inside his head, Evil-Oliolli and Clockwork argued violently. The broken sunglasses fell from the face, revealing the "normal" eye to be glowing red as well, and Hugoli seethed.

"Oh crap" Eric blurted as he stared wide-eyed at the figure. Clockwork Hugo. This was bad, very bad.

He... Couldn't think of what to do. The automation that was in the pit with Clockwork grabbed a nice spear-shaped stick and chucked it in Eric's direction, missing by a foot or so. Until that thing ran out of debri to launch, there was no way he could seal the pit. He needed magma to pour on them, but the magma pump stack didn't even have pumps, let alone flowing magma.

"I... I'll be back for you, you bastard! I'll never forgive the loss of my 'pets'!" And with that, he ran back to the fort, screaming "Guys!! We've got a problem! Another problem!"

"When I designed these cybernetics, they were for the purpose of improving the body. An addition, to make   person+!" explained Mrhappyface.
"But these...things. They replaced whole parts of the body with these crude pieces! This isn't progress, this is horror." he said with sorrow.

How good exactly is CW Hugo in a fight? I've got the sort of impression that he'd be more of the 'sits in evil lair stroking white cat' -type of bad guy. Oliolli actually knows how to fight (and is excellent at it), so I presume that it will be him who takes command in the event of a fight.

Then again, no-one knows that Oliolli is in there as well, right?

"Well, theres a dead one out there. I have a adamanite dagger, maybe you can disect it and learn how it works?" Corai suggested, staring at his not-shiny anymore dagger.

-Que his slow descend into shiny-deprived insanity, :)-

-I see clockwork Hugo as a very strong opponent, like a Darth Vader.-

"Yeesh. Sounds unpleasent. That explains where the dwarves went." Splint said, fishing out a nice peice of fried meat. [I have a craving for meat right now for some reason.] "So, in a nutshell.... The place is fucked a hundred ways to sunday?" Splint said between bites.

Something was wrong. With the central computer smashed, the cyborgs had no central orders. They would now have to meet up to convey information.
